I like how the writers maintain the little nuances of the characters. They show him guilty and that he has changed but they maintain his personality.

ehsaan really does not seem to be a decision maker. it feels like he put up capital to start the firm and that is why he thinks of himself as equal partner. however, when it comes to work load, it is viaan who reallly puts in the hours, sets the business goals and visions. ehsaan's role is more sidekick and just doing a bit here and there. so he is more comfortable playing second lead. so no wonder that viaan went ahead and made policy changes without consulting him.
