I don’t know though. I find Harleen complex. She doesn’t appear obsessive, but rather determined like a reasonable person In love. Whether it’s her burning the marriage cert, or enlisting Satvik’s help, or even knocking out Veronica, these actions don’t appear unhinged like her mother’s in the past. In her head, Advait and Nehmat have to remain married to let Ekam take his mind off her and try to move on. She doesn’t appear to wholly blame Nehmat and can see that Ekam also contributes to his being stuck. And she does appear to be genuinely hurt when he overlooks her. I feel her earnestness and emotion, unlike the rushed crazy that I feel when jasmine went back to Fateh. She is taking her time to do all this, and so I find her very interesting to watch, not to mention that she is funny. And despite what people might say, I like that she will go straight to Nehmat and tell her how she feels about Ekam and tell her not to come and try to disturb his move-on process. Isn’t that out in the open and more refreshing than her mom who was a faker general? To us, Harleen may be wrong. But to Harleen, she is forthright in speaking her mind and what she says. She is sensitive and knows that as long as Nehmat shows signs of wanting to get back together, ekam will never leave, so just tell the woman about her interest and remind her that she is married, is it not her plan? I like her, the way she still feels overall good, but could come off as brusque, yet she has the moral and sensitivity her mom lacked. It would actually be interesting to see if and how such a girl can get Ekam to like her. At this point, with such complex partner as Advait with a million of edgy bad boy past and secrets, for nehmat, as well as Harleen and her conflicting, strange character for a rather grounded Ekam, as well as the link between Harleen and Advait which can come out later and be a sweet source of a misunderstanding track, I can’t find the will to muster any interest in Nehkam together. In the grand scale of things and with the alternatives listed above, they just seem too banal, too boring. I wonder if I can say Admat and Ekleen are the endgame, but I am never sure with Saravi. Ugh.
I respect your opposing POV of Harleen and Nehkam with mine.
And admit that Harleen's character can be seen in the way you are seeing it as a complex character rather than an obsessive one.
I think there are several layers to her character which are yet to be revealed thereby the complexity.
I personally prefer Nehkam over Ekleen even though many think they are boring.
I am like when two people really love each other, then they should be allowed to be with each other and be happy not forced to live with people who they don't love and lead an unhappy life forever.
Here Nehmat will be always unhappy with Advait no matter how good he turns out to be later if she's not able to forget Ekam, same for Ekam, he will never be happy with Harleen if he's unable to move on from Nehmat.
Ekleen scenes are good but the major reason for me to hate Ekleen is that Isha is playing Harleen.
I know it's a very personal POV but I can't stand her acting.
Otherwise I agree that she's cute and very kiddish but acting her expressions are just overwhelming.
Anyhow there are many who love her and I don't oppose because everyone has their own likes.
For me, I think that the CVs shouldn't have shown their favouritism over Isha even in this season when there are good actors.
They should have given more role to Naaz instead of bringing in Jasmine and Harleen.
