I watched it twice. Adnan is really living this character....the shock, the denial, connecting the dots, understanding that it's even worse than he thought, beyond forgiveness, the despair...all of it eating him on the inside.

Viaan is not a very likeable character but Adnan plays this role in a way where you can't help but sympathise with him...to see a tough man's beliefs and arrogance shatter all due to his prejudices...

Well said!!! It is that essential journey, in many ways, it is showing a chauvinistic mindset a mirror. But then, only if that mindset is willing to open to accepting their mistake, will the mirror truly work.

Upbringing is as important as childhood traumas. Yes, his father’s actions made him a closed minded individual, his mothers love has made him an open hearted person,

So I have an important Q …well itna bhi important nahi hai…world mei aur serious problems hai, Lekin phir bhi.

Are we as fans of the show see this as the beginning of his redemption and good enough for Katha??

obviously he is attracted to her because she has a work ethic, she is smart, personable and fantastic at her job. But to fall in love with a colleague like this is very very unprofessional in a way. These are qualities that should be automatic in a work place.

anyways lehusn ka bad breath quality is beginning to outweigh his cancer fighting qualities, writers did lehsun bad!

for a minute I was wonder what ehsaan has to do with cancer fighting and whether he switched places with doctor... then re-read it -- aah lehsun. 🤣

This!! Actually find Ehsan to be a delightful character. But if it was already established between the makers that they would have to present Ehsan as someone who likes Katha so much that he will remove any many from her life (as he said in one episode), I wish he was depicted in a much greyer way from the beginning (though we call like this sunshine version of him!). Him all of a sudden admitting to his feelings for Katha just seems so out of character, and like a lot of you said, quite immature.

Even I don’t take him seriously due to this reason, but the problem is that we are supposed to take him very seriously!! In the OG, there were three people in the poster: Onur (Viaan), Scheherazad (Katha), and Kerem (Ehsan). It’s because he is established to be a very grey character later on. If the Hindi version is going to follow that, they maybe lead up to it slowly instead of just showing such different parts of Ehsan suddenly!

Also, I saw parts of episode 1 of the Arabic version for fun, and in there they establish that Ehsan had a crush on Katha from the very beginning. I’m not saying that the Hindi version to do that, but maybe just give more background for Ehsan if you want us to take him seriously?

I know some people are feeling it’s OTT reaction but the thing is having ONS for money is not his usual thing and this reason of why katha agreed it would be eating him from inside

Truest said forgiving himself will be a bigger challenge
