Can you understand the stars of RRR more than this guy 😂 ?

They sound better than Aishwarya for sure who was as fake as it gets.

Dunno what happens to Indian celebs when they go abroad or speak to global media.

Southern (USA) accent is made fun of and not accepted even in some parts of America like California, that's what southerners say

You can see how southern accent is mocked even here

So it's not just people of color who go thru this

Some types of bigotry is acceptable 😎. The poor, the uneducated... you're free to mock them.

I don't find it cringeworthy at all

He's making an effort to reduce his heavy accent which should be applauded...

I think he was little nervous yet sounded decent... He'll improve

As if the Southern states ending up

being poorer isn’t because they decided to be spiteful racists following end of slavery and instituted Jim Crow, continues to do confederate cosplaying to this day ( also same people continue to deprive Black people living there of their voting rights, institute segregation etc to this day). Instead of developing their economy and improving education etc .

I agree with everyone who says they are doing it to be understood. And believe you me, this will make a difference in their campaign for Oscars. The better they are understood the more impact they’ll have on all the Academy Award voters.

Generally speaking Americans, specially white Caucasian Americans, are very sheltered people who have almost no exposure to other accents. I have seen more than one documentary and even news clips showing an Indian or an African speaking correct English, and yet there’s still subtitles because the makers and producers know their average American audience will not understand their accents.

It's not bad. NTR's clip had audio distrubance but Ram Charan was ok.

Stop bashing them for such minimal things, Cherry sounds fine. They have earned a lot more than Aishwarya or any other Indian in that platform.

Extremely happy for them, especially Charan ❤️
