I guess that is difference of openion because throughout the show, I have actually Sajid giving good advices to sumbul .....one of my favourite one was that now when she has earned money, she should go to college and make friends....enjoy that life....this age is for that. Apart from that also when he told her that she should decide of she wants to be a kid or adult, she can't be both at the same time....and joh aaj samjhaya......and shalin ke maamle mein.....the one time she dint listen to Sajid regarding Shalin and wrote "this too shall pass" for shalin sake....for their friendship sake and shalin was saying that jaise hi hamare beech kuch hota hai....sumbul faida uthathi hai stuff to tina. Sajid ke tarike kharab hai shalin ke baarein mein rokte waqt....woh rule deta hai sumbul ko...itna bol deta hai that sumbul feels guilty when she talks to shalin/doubts her actions but to be honest agar Sajid woh cheez pyaar se karta toh sumbul shalin dobara wkw situation pe pahuch jaate.
Sajid is never right for sumbul. He made her maid bullied and insulted her. At one point sumbul was dead soul less. It's just that sumbul somehow learnt to live with that. She is young and nobody took stand for her so she dealt it in her own way. Sajid mocked her tears even mocked her father. He said jaisa pita waisi beti. How can someone like him be right for anyone. Shalin never bullied and killed sumbul s soul. He had his mood swings. Now shalin is not bb damad so sumbul supports shalin its crime and sajid is bb damad sumbul supports sajid. No character assassination.
