Choti Anu TS : " Home Sweet Home "

Shot description : The day Anu got adopted was the happiest day of her life. She was determined to be the best daughter for her adopted parents that they would never have a reason to not want her. But life doesn't always end up the way we wish for and little Anu needs to find a place that she belongs on her own. a place to called home sweet home.

I haven't watched this show. I don't even have an idea about the characters. I read about the ongoing track from the articles and the discussion on forums and had this idea to write a Two Shot. So do forgive me, if I haven't fully grasped the show's concept or characters.

This is really beautiful❤️ A work of art I would say... I loved the beautiful depiction of the child's emotions and Mukku is my favorite character who went downhill and disappeared in the show but her understanding here was so beautiful and she talked so sensibly❤️

Thank you for the kind feedback ❤️. I am really glad to know you liked this one 🤗. Writing from a child perspective is something I quite enjoy, so when I stumbled upon choti Anu character. I had to write something on her.

I have knowledge on the shows characters as such except the articles. So I am glad that you liked it. Also in ITV it is expected all character go downhill in the end. It is why I not watching anything at the moment.

At the same time।i wanted to say this from long about dimpy...i skipped some episodes when Anu and dimpy met and what happened after that but i knew she got raped.

I started watching the episode from last two three weeks and dimpy is always doing some work or trying to make Anuj/ choti any feel better, helping Anupama/samar in work .

Please don't take me wrong, i am in no way saying that rape victims should not live their life

But rape doesn't only affect body but mind and soul too. One can not get over it so easily and can get terrified of other men too. And that too strangers she is so happy and normal around them.

They took one very sensitive topic but didn't show how rape affects it's victim how tough life gets after that, how she feels so unsafe all the time even with her family members friends too. How she slowly got over this feeling how she felt when she is trying to get over it but sometimes do fall into those depressing thought, how she slowly builds her self confidence and gets back to life .

How she felt when her husband left her.

No journey, emotions or turmoil of dimpy was shown

The trauma wasn't addressed in the show and frankly the after effect was badly handled. The makers here show some big issue but never show the after effects or the truth about trauma... It's highly trivialized here... Sad. They started her track with Samar too soon.

So I have very little to no knowledge about this show but I did read about this track from the articles and discussions on the forum while browsing and it is upsetting that they handled such a sensitive track as a joke.

That is Indian television for you. They would possibly be kidnapped, almost raped and even raped but the next day they would be busy catering to everyone else

. They took one very sensitive topic but didn't show how rape affects it's victim how tough life gets after that, how she feels so unsafe all the time even with her family members friends too. How she slowly got over this feeling how she felt when she is trying to get over it but sometimes do fall into those depressing thought, how she slowly builds her self confidence and gets back to life . I am baffled by the writers too for dealing with sensitive topics as if they are just nothing worth spending time on except for the dramatic factor.

No journey, emotions or turmoil of dimpy was shown. The characters will show emotions for every single things that hardly matter but for traumatic events nope nothing will be shown at all sadly.

I did write one book with original characters that dealt with sensitive topic like rape and I could never find that I did justice to the characters because it was indeed hard to write their turmoil in depth but the show's writers didn't even try to deal it with more thoughtfulness.

Actually I do read forum but hardly reply , but your story really gave insight what might comes in mind of adopted child, the fear of abandonment , not being good enough, worthy enough to receive parents love, questioning every small things they do that might send them back to orphanage,

Sadly the serial started on very promising note , we waited till Anu gets to know about kavya and vanraj cheating her, till then she accepted all humiliation by her in laws children and husband. And sometimes women accept everything hoping that one day everything is going to be fine. But when she saw kavya and vanraj together in her bedroom on her anniversary she got panic attack and it was really emotional episode, one could feel how cheating affect other spouse. How hard it was for Anu how devika helped her in realisng pain. How she left the home at midnight

But slowly they forgot all that things and Anu became cupid between kavya and V, intially after their marriage guided her it's other thing that it wasn't needed and created more drama, she made sure V gets married to K. And now she is like bff to kavya . Teases her jokes with her like she is a friend..

I mean it's one thing that you forgive someone though it's not this easy but let's assume because she found Anuj she got love real love so she could forgive him easily but being so pal with V and K looks disgusting to me atleast, it's not like after divorce v married k . And being coordial is different thing and being friends in another .

But to show Anupama mahan they forgot she is human a wife who got to know about her husband's affair in worst way.

And

Now CA they never show how tough it was to be okay at new home, to get comfortable with new set of people to accept them as parents, no matter how much they love her , it takes time to accept new people family.

And

Worst is dimpy

She too always goes to baa and respect her and gets disheartened when baa insult her.

First of all she has her own trauma to deal with why she goes to another toxic persons. Who sees her as someone less than a human.

I don't know what kick this good women(according to the serial) gets by getting insulted and keep going back to that person without even showing how it affects them mentally.

So much frustrated with serials 😄

But you are an amazing writer hope they get to see this post and understand how to write a serial not only drama fetches trp good content can also fetch trp, sadly they start good tract cheating, 40+ women strating her journey, remarriage, adoption , rape but don't know how to tackle that may be they can get some guidance from you

P.s. they forgot this journey was about Anupama becoming independent not do ghr ki bahu and Malkin of kapadia empire and still the same surii surii
