It's during Samrat death track.
Sai just came to know she was pregnant. Samrat died saving her from Jagtap.
Pakhi was vile enough to curse her and tried to manhandle her , slapped her and tried to throw her out of CN, holding her responsible for Samrat's death.
All this she did , knowing very well Sai was pregnant and she was an orphan.
Sai fell down from stairs under extreme emotional stress and had miscarriage and also doc said future pregnancy doesn't look feasible.
She didn't kill directly. But she slapped her 3 times, pushed her when she was pregnant. Mentally abused her for 15 days, gave curse to her that she will never get any happiness. She did all these infront of everyone. No one stopped her. I don't know if it's karma enough, but it is definitely karma.
See, it is a punishment in a poetic sort of way. There won't be any in-your-face moments where we will see her suffer but she will suffer in a way that no one can help her. She can get all the love from the world but she will never get what she wants.
She seeked Virat's company all along, and now his company will bring her nothing but pain, and that which she seeks now, will be impossible for her to get.
It's not a physical pain, but definitely a torturous mental pain. She might not be thrown into chaos, but chaos will always reside in her mind.
