P.S -I think Rajeev Khandelwal was the only actor I know of who told openly that he was not okay with the serial plot so he quit. Any other lead actors who quit because of the creative differences?
The only things I know about HC's history with his shows is when he was on Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava? I believe he had some issues at the end with the creatives. Hence him and lead girl wanted off the show. Because that show was about domestic violence and he played the hero who help the lead girl get away from her crazy ex husband who use to beat her. But for whatever reasons fans loved the ex husband. He played a very good psycho. So creatives kept having the psycho around. The show became more about villian winning over good when it should be the other way around.

I am being practical here:
ITV will always have a separation leap and kids 5 - 6 years of age will pop up nothing new. Leads have a horrible falling out hence the separation and leap.
The show has been shooting 7 days a week the leads need time off too. You separate them so they don't have to keep shooting scenes together and they are with other actors. That may free up time for them to take some short breaks. Because the audience will see scenes of just what is happening with Akshu and then what is happening with Abhi.
Neil died may be that was always the plan for the separation. Or the actor did not resign contracts and wanted off the show or the actor did not want to play a father and that forced the separation earlier.
People need to calm down and see the episodes that are coming.
Everyone is so on edge if HC is leaving. He already stated he does not like to walk out in the middle of projects.
The show is gone if he leaves. I am sorry Jai may be a good actor but he doesn't have as much power to pull in numbers. If you look at the original montage of the show it is Harshad up front, Pranali's head shot a little bigger than Karishma's head shot. That means Harshad is the lead and Pranali is the lead. They lead the show. No one is going to stick around to watch them separated with other people. Their interaction is what makes the show.
All this twitter nonsense is just PR to hype. Is there enough noise from the online community to may be make enough buzz that people will tune in offline? Do people even still care out there? Well, twitter gave the answer to the PH. But will that noise translate to offline viewers? Will it make some online viewers tune offline to see what all the fuss is?
This show also has had some weird issues with promos. In the beginning when the show was better written promos were there. But as the TRPs went down we barely got promos. And when we did get a promo the creatives failed in execution leading to lackluster results. Even without promos show has remained in top 5.
If the creatives want to end Abhi and his character exits then bye bye end of show no two ways about it.
And I will stand that the last Christmas party is where my Abhira had their happy ending with their children on the way and Neil alive 🤣 (Ok maybe not so practical on this last thought)
