Now I remember. It was the date that started my descent into madness and ultimately salvation. You once asked me why and how I turned spiritual, became a witch. Well…that’s how. Loooooong road. Anyway, nothing physical happened. All the wounds were emotional/mental and they have long healed. It was 4-5 years ago after all. Time changes a lot and though grief may not be a linear process, we all heal eventually.

Pffftttttt……My memory isn’t that bad. You are still the only human that pops into my mind every time that Gotye song plays. Like clockwork. Without fail. Because I learnt about that song from you 10 years ago!! I’m just a little scatter brained, that’s all. Which believe it or not helps. I may not remember the good but I also don’t remember the bad all that well.
