Sajid didn't fully put the entire blame on her but he did say time and again that she is partly at fault, which rubbed Nimmo the wrong way because she feels she had made her stance clear from the start.
Abdu told Sajid Nimmo hadn't told him that she was in fact dating someone and when questioned Nimmo said she had made him aware of this but then Sajid was like she did so in jest and maybe that's why Abdu failed to grasp the gravity of it.
From what I've seen Nimmo never really gave him any hints as to any romantic feelings ever developing between the two of them but she was enjoying the attention no doubt. And maybe that's possibly why she was hesitant to put a stop to this whole thing or maybe like the rest of them, she genuinely thought it's harmless.

I do believe things could have been handled in a better, much more sensitive and sensible way but then again, Sajid se kya hi expect karna.
