Inke bass ke baath nahin hein..thats why haveli times were good..things were simple and sweet until kangan kaand..after that annadaathas started showing their rang..i will never be able to understand or relate with any of the characters in this show..

For me personally it started with the lack of guilt from everyone about hiding Dev and Rishita's relationship from Raavi and basically forcing her to marry into the same household and to Dev's brother who has always openly claimed to hate her. It seemed like they wanted her to be normal almost immediately and then did the same thing after the kidnapping incident and on the bus and in every single incidence after that. She wasn't really allowed to let out her hurt & frustration and have her feelings heard. The lack of continuity in the story and accountability by the characters (maybe a result of the former) made it difficult for me to connect with their portrayal of a loving and caring family.

Dhara's gaslighting was at its best even then

We see forced marriages in every other show most of them are revenge marriages here it was clear case of what we see in real life , manipulation ny family to save it's honour

Was he really so concerned about raavi or was he just scared ki ek Anita already hai unmarried ab raavi ko bhi bithake ke khilana padega

They have done the worst with raavi the writers and the makers .

They dnt want respect for the character Ravi..which is evident from each of the characters in this show...they never validate her feelings..when CA they beat up shiva for doing that..but cant support her or respect her decision for not wanting to live with him...thats how insignificant her character as a women is for them...all that matters is she and shiva is shown to be made dor each other..nok jhok couple(whose nok jhoks are pretty disgusting fights)so she is made to say dialogues like she will go back one day..🤪and she went back the same day.

Shiva and ravis relationship is toxic...shiva is an abuser and ravi cant live without her abuser..this is their reality...and this cant be romanticised..its disgusting actually..

While they claimed the marriage was for her own good but never once was the family shown actually helping her navigate her new life. She wasn't given time to heal nor treated with sensitivity and compassion. I found the morning after the marriage scene so surreal. Not a single person shown concerned about her mental well being after what she went through, specially the suicide attempt, made them appear quite callous and selfish.

Her marriage with Dev breaking would have put his family in a bad light given what happened not her. Also, given the deception, forcing her to marry someone from that very family doesn't seem like something a loving parent-figure would ever do.

Plus if marriage not happening would have ruined her life then why later show Shiva trying to "save her" by divorcing her a couple of months into their marriage. Wouldn't that be much worse? Also, Prafulla was shown easily finding many marriage prospects for Raavi even after that. The show should have stayed at least somewhat consistent with this.

Either they shouldn't show her suffering so much in the hands of people claiming to love her or own up to the fact that she is indeed severely mistreated. Why not have the courage to present her marriage as the twisted story they have made it into rather than as a tale of true love and pretend the two of them are perfect for one another. At least then people will stop expecting anything else.
