Nope. No one is throwing these words around casually. Each one of us gave examples of why we have the opinions that we have regarding misogyny, homophobia, and racism and the particular personalities we attached these words to. That doesn’t mean we are absolutely right, which is something some of us actually acknowledged. But there’s enough there to have a discussion about it. An actual legitimate discussion with different takes and/or interpretations if you will.

My peeve is with the blinds business being used to slander someone, man or woman, without proof. When Aryan was exonerated, his reputation didn't get returned to him.

Before branding someone an abuser and a criminal, we'd better have some suggestion of it besides the word of 2 women who have themselves been shown to be violent and have immense power in Bollywood.

And the blinds conveniently pop up when he's about to have a theatrical release or gets critical appreciation.

Wasn't Sushant a so-called outsider, too? There is a lot written here (or elsewhere) that reminds me of the slander directed towards him.

The skit may not be to the taste of many (didn't he delete it?), but making it a kind of proof of a negative opinion one has about him, is - imo - quite narrow-minded and/or far-fetched.

For the rest, there seem to be nothing but defamatory rumors...

Disagree. Kartik was rising since 2020, and his PR was full force everywhere. Only recently have people begun to side-eye his behavior, so how could have the girls known? Most of Kartik's PR/nonPR relationships were from years ago. Plenty of people in BW sleep around, so that's certainly not an anomaly, but most of them having troubles with him certainly is.

Varun and her are still on good terms to this day. You can't compare an absolutely stupid gesture like this to an alleged act with the intent to harm. Did Janhvi want to physically cause pain to him? No. She was just being stupid.

Also, all of Kartik's exes have a problem with him besides Sara, who might be concealing her dislike because of how badly her movie career has been going recently. It's not just 1 or 2 former partners, it's most of them that have a problem with him.

It's similar to how Kareena accidentally supported eugenics while defending nepotism with Saif. As snooty and classist as Kareena is, I'm sure she didn't actually mean what came out of her mouth. Or when Kajol compared AIDS to a cold.
