Actually this could be a good plot..subconsciously V choosing S over P…there was a similar scene in ipkknd wherein ML chose FL over his then girlfriend when both were changing the bulb and were about to fall..it beautifully indicated how he has started to tilt towards FL..There was no hue created by his gf after this however P ll not forget to remind V of this everyday before he falls asleep.

It is going to be the same thing here. It is a subtle way of showing that Virat is slowly tilting towards Sai but there will always be a Patralekha to hold them back
