I am also amused by the fact that Tina thinks she's the one controlling him whereas he's the one pulling all the strings in that relationship of convenience. He is for sure way smarter than he lets on.

Yup, Tina thinks she's smart but Shalin is the one driving the narrative here. He's playing very smart. He makes sure that whenever they go against Mandli, Tina is the who gets the blame. During the whole captaincy-birthday fiasco, he didn't say a word against the mandli in front of them while he was continously goading her in private.

During the nominations, he did go against the Mandli's decision (nominating Ankit) but targeted Sumbul, who isn't anyone's priority in the mandli as well as used a personal reason so that it couldn't be said later that he betrayed them.

People think he's a moron and don't consider him a bigger threat.

He very well knows Tina is a conniving piece of trash and he's letting her think he is falling prey to her charms so that the outside world sympathises with him more and Tina toh waise hi badnaam hai and rightfully.

Abdu toh I think dislikes Sha because he doesn’t find him genuine - ghadi ghadi acting karta hain iss liye. Shiv I think genuinely finds him a threat - though I’m not sure why - no feedback suggests that Sha is a threat, upar se uski itni bashing hoti hain. Ghosla ji ka toh ek level hain - and he thinks most people are beneath that level. And unka toh obvious hain yaar - unko bhi pata hain ehsaan kiya Sha neh unka keema nahi banake 😆
