As for settling abroad, that's nice, but don't you feel very alone sometimes with no help whatsoever in situations like the one you shared before ~ someone being ill in family, work commitments etc. It must be quite a task to do all of that alone, salute to you for that 🙂

Exactly. The whole 'paraaya dhan' thing puts me off. Tumhari beti hai, tumne agar itni naazon se bada kiya hai toh lifetime tumhare sab zarooratein pure karne ka theka le sakti hai.

Swarg pahuchne ke liye karm acche hone chahiye. As long as you are working towards something good without thinking of the results, you will get the fruit of your labour. But if you want to, for instance, do kanyadaan ONLY because swarg jaana hai, that is a very selfish logic.

First instance she told the policeman that the girl does not understand what he is saying, wo samjha degi, next time se galti nahi hogi, helmet pehen ke niklenge.

Second instance, the boys are singing an item song to eve tease the first girl, she thinks they are asking for water, the second one tells them do you have zero shame? ghar pe maa behen nahi hai kya? and warns her friend that boys are certified idiots.

Then exclaims that if you wanna live in Maharashtra, you should know Marathi, but then cannot understand when the shopkeeper asks her for Rs. 167, she is not able to understand. He asks her to first learn her language before educating others.

I think people would appreciate it more, because it talks about a girls journey as a mechanical engineer and shows her succeeding at it as well. Sanyu was a determined girl who achieved her dreams and made it big too. She fought her family, her friends, co-workers, even managed to change the mindset of regressive sexist professors when it came to reaching the Dream Team or becoming a mentor and then chairperson in her father's firm.

But I never liked the bold content in it, that was an unnecessary addition to keep the audience engrossed, and I always skipped all those mushy mushy BS between Randhir and Sanyukta. S1 became a borefest when it came to their love story because for some reason I could not imagine their characters being romantically involved, they were nice as part of the same team, classmates, friends, even BFFs. Told them this to their face and they agreed with me too. Never watched S2, but apparently she went into space too?!
