Why we won so easily?

We did basic things right.

not a tortoise start in PP. scored around 40 which was OK.

Then one player in SKY stayed till the end. Whoever came through joined him. Pandya didn't try to hit much, just gave sky strike. One ball he tried and failed . In bowling we weren't afraid to let the ball swing. Arshdeep hasn't dropped a catch after that Asif ali game. We bowled Hooda after sundar got smacked. Chahal knew how to bowl in small grounds because played for more than half a decade at chinnaswamy.

And pandya wasnt afraid to be flexible. He didnt bowl himself instead bowled Siraj who had a shit T20 record still he was hooping it. And we didnt get Kane out. Sometimes it is tactical.

The only error i would say is playing pant.. Play samson or send hooda to open and play extra pacer in umran/sen . I wont change much in this team. Just drop pant for Kohli. Kishan and hooda to open. And rest follows. Iyer has improved strike rate and is not a problem now.

Bold- not sure but I remember the English comms guys mentioning that Hardik had a stiff neck (which was probably the reason for him not bowling)

For NZ, there's probably space for only one of Williamson and Conway at the top. Dunno if they have readymade good replacements though- Chapman is a player that comes to mind, but I'm not sure he'll be a real improvement over KW/DC in terms of SR from the little I've watched.

Maybe get Michael Bracewell into the squad? Was super impressive against Pakistan.

There is not a single Indian bowler whom batters can feel afraid of. India always produced excellent batters but never had a bowling line up to boast. Reverse applicable for Pakistan.
