What was about court marriage 18 years ago? Did they divorce and married again and signed kids contracts? In total it should be 25 years because they stayed together for 7. On another note, 4 kids in 7 years, not bad at all😜🤣.

When I saw 0.3 as the opening trp of Appnapan, I immediately knew the show would not survive long.

Then, I checked Nikvi's social media following. It was very poor compared to many tv stars. Nikvi or Appnapan hardly had any buzz on Twitter - just a handful of posts. Plus, #Nikvi never featured as a popular tag of the week ever.

The only way Appnapan could marginally improve its tv trp or online trp was a powerful storyline. But, story started dipping with every passing episode and completely deteriorated with Sonali's entry, throwing it out of online charts. TV trp also fell to a 0.2 in certain weeks.

The screenplay screamed the trp pressures imposed by the channel on makers & writers. The scenes were so disjoint and incoherent. In a short story of 5 months, how many times the writers themselves debunked the facts they established in the earlier episodes.

With so many red flags all along, how was Appnapan going to survive? On a few lakhs of rupees earned weekly. Impossible. Even a simple tv show requires close to a monthly production cost of over Rs 1cr.

Lastly, the losses caused by COVID have been so high that all channels have become brutal when it comes to axing shows.

They were supposed to say that they're celebrating after 18 years, but they made it sound like they got married 18 years ago 🤣🤣
