they r mediocre pairing. There r many much better pairings than ranveer-alia like Aditya-shraddha, ranbir-deepika etc. Kjo can choose any high chemistry pair but he is again n again choosing mediocre or below average or zero chemistry pairs nowadays

Thats your opinion, but there are many who like the rs and alia pairing, people love their makemytrip ads and many liked them in gullyboy. Plus they get along really well as friends and so that adds to the chemistry.

Kjo wouldn't have put them in the film if people didn't like seeing them together

Aditya-shraddha n ranbir-deepika pairing has much more fans. Their jodis r so iconic. Ranveer-alia jodi is nowhere near them. Ranveer-anushka is also iconic

Those other pairings have been in several movies, if you like them then watch those movies again. kjo has decided to put rs and alia in the film as they fit with the characters and the story, they'll be seen in a different setting and characters to what was shown in gullyboy. Many people are looking forward to the movie.

what several movies? Aditya-shraddha just 2 movies n ranbir-deepika just 3. I want them to be repeated like srk-kajol, dharmendra-hema, akshay-katrina etc becoz they r so good as romantic couples. They deserve too many romantic movies together. Their chemistry is underutilized. Still their r so many fans of adishra, rkdp, sidneeti, sidshra n many more n they r waiting for these couples to come again together. I saw too many posts of sid-shradhha fanpages requesting them together in a movie again after massive success of ek villian but nowadays Directors r too blind to see good jodis. Earlier, iconic jodis like dharmendra-hema, srk-kajol, anil-madhuri, Amitabh-rekha etc were repeated too much. But now good jodis r not at all utilised

So invest your money and make a film with them.

Since you're less blind than the directors who created the jodis in the first place.

KJo's money is his to do with as he pleases.
