I think it was never clarified WHICH flower was Ram's fav. He bought roses for Heera because he didn't have money in those days *rolls eyes*. Lilies became his presumed fav according to Priya (unless anything new was disclosed later).

I think you can summarise his attitude towards Priya and Heera in two ways. One, his giving anything, and often nothing, is fine with Priya, while Heera wants the world. There's the saying, na--"The squeaky wheel gets the grease". That's the material aspect. The other aspect is that Priya didn't want things and was (is?) therefore free to say whatever she thought, the reason for some of the scenes most of us loved the most (and still miss og P for the most). Which also got her endless flak from noxious fans (pun intended. Iykyk).

The second aspect is of right and closeness. Ram rarely reacts on anyone for hurting him (maybe for hurting his family, but not himself) as he has on Priya (maybe Soods). It's not good or desirable, but it's an indicator. There was some really obnoxious behaviour post-leap, but, like everything Ram does, it was made justifiable. You can't blame a guy for being toxic with a cheating ex. I remember saying back then that he would soon be rehabilitated as Ram1.0, but Priya had probably been ruined for good. (Yes, I do harp on that a lot.😆)

So, as I understand it, Ram didn't believe anything nasty about Nandini until he heard her admit it. Makes one go back to his response to Nandini spewing filth about Priya when he didn't believe Priya herself regarding her alleged infidelity. Noice.

My question is, he heard whatever, played out a dramatic scene in response, then had a convenient accident and had yet another dramatic scene, recalling the true faces of the trio, then forgot Priya and returned to the womb, so to speak?

So now he's where? Which year? I'm sure cvs won't be bothered about syncing events or timelines, but I'm sure the doctor will say he mustn't be stressed to recall anything, or Nandini will pay him to say so.

I wish they were less predictable. I remember telling my daughter when she was relating that RP were getting back together that for sure one of them will have an accident and go into coma and the other will be 'forced' to marry a third wheel. This seems like a variation designed to showcase Nakuul's acting and further reduce Priya to boring fl.

Lol, lol! So true. How often have we seen any real work? I used to so want to join birdland and scoff when noxious fans self-righteously spoke of Ram's "hard-earned wealth". I'm sure that's the underlying presumption, but except for Adi and Sandy and those stupid torture-employees late-night meetings post leap, all they showed in the office was eating, personal chats, phone calls, and visits from mom and Heera (with hug thrown in)!

I can write a whole thesis on why the relationship of Ram and Priya is toxic/jk. And I blame (without a flinch) Ram Kapoor for it.

If you cry more than being happy in a relationship then the relationship is not worth it.

Priya, whole in whole, has turned out (contrary to my initial expectations) to be a doormat.

Right from the day she was getting married to Ram, Ram has been a red flag. Atleast to me (to each their own). Because I can't see myself being humiliated by my potential groom who leaves me in the midst of the wedding.

Reuniting with a grown up 40 year old 'supposedly' a best businessman is nothing but a plain stupidity. The same man who claims to love you but don't trust/believe/support you until much later.

Its about time we should stop keeping male leads on pedestal and call them out for their incapability of handling a relationship (and look through the evil) and doing a bare minimum.

Balh2 started with subtle flavour of Zindagi Gulzar Hai (I kid you not, I was rooting for the serial) has turned out to be a big disappointment.

I actually don't care whether or not they get together. My real desire is for P to be free, even if they kill her. The serial lost more than half it's uniqueness and flavour the day they changed Priya.

I don't find Ram toxic, just not as wonderful as some would have us believe. His faults and failings are glaring, but I'd accept them if there was the kind of fitting rebuttal that og P gave him. I just didn't like the starry-eyed worshipping Priya.

Isn't it significant that most viewers are so divided over who the toxic party is between the leads? Both have been written to take mindless, ruinous decisions and act in frustrating and enraging ways. Wasn't there fury here for Priya not revealing to Ram that Pihu was his, long after the time to keep it secret had passed? Maybe I'm biased, but India forums probably has the most balanced approach, and yet, there was a phase when almost everyone was ticked off at Priya. Not to mention the endless ruing over the change in the character's essence. I leaned towards Priya even post leap because of the triggering glorification of Ram and justification for everything Ram does, (which may simply be catering to the popularity of NM) and because there was still an innate dignity and grace in Priya, but after a point it just became impossible to watch even clips because of the flip flops, the mind-boggling contradictions in what a person did or said in one scene and the next, the ridiculous eyelocks and...what do I call it? Proximity? between the leads when accusations fly before and after... True, basic instincts can sometimes overpower logical thinking, but this was just shoehorning.

In short, I feel the writers play the audience. And once the writers have shown that in spite of having the capacity to create an engaging narrative they have sold out to mundane, formulaic bs, it's not worth having expectations.

Man is on the winner side because he got the taste of both the worlds (his wife and ex) while he became a Ghajini.

The Audience, will take up this shit and call it eternal romance. A story of how much a husband loves his wife. ( and also his ex, on the days when he dosent believe his wife).

Yeah, as I said, Ram's actions are always made justifiable.

There's supposedly nothing to engage viewers beyond sexual tension, so they will keep booting to where a love story that barely began can start over. 🙄

How pathetic that content creators don't want to take pains to actually create a narrative, but are made to follow dusty, old, predictable paths. How pathetic that they rely on anything that gets viewers' attention, even if it's negative feedback, even by enraging them by using characters that have outlived their expiry date. There's no freshness and nothing to watch for unless you're in love with both or either of the leads.
