It isn't different. Maybe it is about, as you're saying, the numbers. Archana mostly does it on her own - these guys converge in, so it looks bad. But that shouldn't be a reason for Shiv getting vilified for something Archana gets a pass for IMO. Instigation is instigation.

For me ganging up is one thing, bullying is another. Ganging up, yes is often more applicable to Shiv n co - because more of them jump in. Bullies toh a number of them there are - including Archana and Priyanka and Gautam.

That has been his problem... He himself has had no direct conflicts with anyone... so to get into the heat of things he started jumping to defend his group people.. especially Sajid and Abdul... Rest everyone.. barring Priyanka maybe... have a good for themselves in most cases.. Shiv on the other hand has had all fights to defend Sajid or Abdu... Except for that one time he fought with Nimrit over rice theft... He looked good in that fight.. I now also feel that his" genuine affection "for Abdu is also not so genuine.. so is his chamchsgiri for Sajid.. otherwise one has to blind to not see how wrong Sajid was when he abused Gautam and now overreacted in Gori's matter... Or the way he influences Abdu..

Silbatta did not actually speak ill of dumb-bell ka father... It was a taunt for dumb-bell only that she could not even understand and follow what her father told her.... The line correct or no, was aiming at dumb-bell alone and not her father!!!
