Sorry to interrupt but I have a question here....I've read a few times that if VP marriage is invalid it cancels the adoption etc.

But if for example, A couple got married and adopted a child then a couple years down the road got divorced would that cancel the adoption and they return the kid ?!?

Is that how adoption works?

I genuinely don't know but I would hope not as once adoption is complete the child is yours and unless there are mental or physical dangers to the child it stays with parents and they would do the same custody talks during divorce as they would of it was a biological child ?

yeah thats what I wrote above. Yes they should share the custody if they divorce. In my opinion, adopted kid becomes same as the biological kid after adoption.

At this point vinu's adoption is independent of VP marriage.

I would assume the same... in real world scenario...

But they made a mess... no law of our country asks a man to marry a woman for adopting a boy child. Its the criteria if he wants to adopt a girl child.

So by ghum logic, basic criteria for adopting Vinu was V to be married... wont it be invalid by the same logic?
