His casting, direction team, editing, dop , all technical team looks good only in all shows of his except the writing team. Toh why not fix the writing team which is what drags the show down!
Especially now since he has pretty much decent experience producing shows.

Especially now since he has pretty much decent experience producing shows.

Every show in this genre has the same problem. Writing and screenplay. No consistency and no balance. All starts good but cannot be sustained. I think ITV should really enforce finite series first... because only then writers will have an end in sight and a timespan to work with. Even if there is no creativity, unnecessary drama, dragging and unnecessary subplots and antagonist characters and agendas can reduce...

And he has the expertise to hire a good team too.

But the shows made 10 years earlier also, though not finite and overdosed with drama, used to have some basic substance atleast and seem to be better than the ones made now.

Even if they gave us a proper build-up for RiDu, we would have ignored everything else.

But that relationship is standing only for Zoon for the past 100 episodes, and will be determined ONLY for her in the future too. Aisi kaunsi husband wife ki naiyaa paar ho sakti hai?

This yaar.. the leads had a story of their own. Good progression and proper love story atleast till confession. No doubt there was negativity, bakwaas , ott drama but even now, the journey of first few months of love story still have rewatch value.
nowadays even 100 episodes seem a big task for the writers to cover.
