Can't wait for the subs... I swear this episode and the hopeful concept of happy ending made me fall in love with the drama even more

This episode was truly such a treat! His eyes were on Ayesha all evening at the wedding. He knew precisely when she was leaving despite looking so involved with Fahad, the bride and Soha.

When he came to Ayesha's house to talk, and in the middle of their conversation, when he said it was a misunderstanding and Ayesha asked him how do I believe you that such a misunderstanding won't happen again...the way he broke down and said 'I'm sorry' ...that moment...his voice. Oufffff! Seriously! This man!

If only Qudsia hadn't interrupted them...God I hate this woman! 😂😡 Also, the last scene where he saves her...His worry, anger and yearning...all in one single scene...I can't really... This episode was exactly what Ayet fandom needed right now and I wish for more episodes like this one 😍

The problem is that I've watched their scenes which are approximately 80% of the episode like 5 times already... And that without sub... My addiction with this show keeps getting worse day by day 😂

Seriously! If Qudsia hadn't interrupted them, Basit would have said much more. He would have said what Ayesha wanted and needed to hear!

When he saves her! Ouffff! While he was in darkness, you still heard it in his voice!

This was precisely what we needed after the weeks of angst!

At the wedding when Soha comes up to where Basit and Ayesha are standing and talking (arguing), the way he looks at Ayesha as Soha and Ayesha greet each other...

After that he lost no opportunity in bringing her close to him...be it for posing for the photos or by capturing her hand. He just wanted to take her home then and there.

So the episode was a treat for us fans. The wedding scene was done well and one could see the awe in Basit’s eyes for Ayesha. I loved the way he held her hand. He did try to talk but attending the wedding with Soha sabotaged his own chances. That is not how you convince your estranged wife of your interest in carrying forward the relationship. Some of the looks that Basit shot Ayesha were indeed adorable. I appreciate how Ayesha was forthcoming by telling Basit that he should’ve come to take her back respectfully. She finally could voice some of her grievances.

What I did not like was how Basit did not put a stop on Soha sticking to him like glue. He should have given Ayesha that attention and not swayed from his stance. Basit should have never let Ayesha go home alone in lieu of some photos with Soha and co. He should have run behind Ayesha and stopped her from leaving alone. Ayesha needed a firmer hand there and Basit should’ve strongly insisted that he won’t let her go alone. Why do you think that he did not do that?

I think seeing Basit and Soha together and Basit not putting a stop on Soha bestowing her attentions on him dampened Ayesha’s morale and made her feel insecure. She appeared to be so under confident at the wedding despite looking gorgeous. She still has a long way to go in terms of gaining her confidence in both their relationship and herself.

Loved Bano as always and it is upsetting that Bano and Fahad are not end game. As for Zoya, the less said the better. They have completely turned her into a negative character. It was heartless the way she taunted Ayesha. I would like to see Zoya learn some lessons in the next few episodes.

Basit coming to Ayesha’s place was a delight. I liked how he told Bano to not address him as “Sir” and even agreed to have chai. The conversation between both Ayesha and Basit was heartfelt. I felt for them both. I loved how Basit kneeled down in front of Ayesha and tried getting through to her. Had Ayesha not seen so much of Soha, I feel she would’ve been more amenable for their reconciliation. It was clear that Ayesha wanted to go back with him but the hurt and embarrassment that she has been facing right from when he threw her out to even Fahad’s wedding all cumulated and made her unable to voice out her true feelings. Qudsia completely ruined the mood. I don’t know what is her obsession with Yawar when Ayesha specifically told her that she wouldn’t remarry ever. Qudsia instead could have been stern with Basit and just warned him to never disrespect Ayesha like that ever again.

I loved how Ayesha put Qudsia in her place, fought with her to come back to Basit. Bobby Phupo deserves a special mention for encouraging Ayesha to reconcile with her husband. Ayesha’s scene with Yawar’s family was good too.

One thing I fail to understand is, why was Soha at Basit’s place? And why would Basit share such personal information with her? The guy has trust issues and has no qualms in opening up to a girl who he just met properly a few days ago and knows her to be a snob. Why talk about your wife and her family in front of her? I think this is where he fails.

Finally, let’s come to the scene with Ayesha walking on the road. I think you were right Twerps, she was almost deliberately walking in front of a car. Ayet’s conversation in this entire scene was so intense. I had goosebumps when I heard Basit yell at Ayesha about what was she doing and what if something happened to her. You could hear the concern, anger and love in his voice. I think in that last scene both were stubborn in their own way but realised at the same time that they cannot live without each other. What do you guys make of the last scene?

Cappa first let me send you a hug for this wonderfully detailed review! 🤗Absolutely loved reading it especially as you explored the nuances❤️

Basit the master at self sabotaging was at his best here but thankfully he is now also making gestures that are reaching Ayesha, being noticed by her. She was thinking Basit doesn't think her attractive and today he was hugging her like he would have wanted to bring her even more close. But of course it took Bano to make her realise that Basit had complimented her, that he had found her to be pretty.

Soha truly was circling around him and Ayesha like a hungry shark. Her poking at Ayesha was also exactly how we had thought it would be. She never directly taunts Ayesha but she comes to Basit just in time to stop him from running after Ayesha. Also the way she says later at his house, It must have been difficult for her to adjust to this lifestyle. Exactly the kind of statement ...overtly well meaning but actually undermining Ayesha.

I think at the wedding Basit had this idea that he needs to be next to Fahad. Possibly it was a way for Basit to return Fahad the favour he did to Basit by being with him right through his wedding. It is kind of sad to see Basit say and think that Fahad has no one with him and he needs to be there (like he told Soha over the phone) when actually it is Basit who really has no one in his life apart from Ayesha, Fahad and Mansur Uncle. But anyway, I think it was because Basit felt he should be beside Fahad that he doesn't follow after Ayesha. Also Basit’s natural aversion to making a scene stopped him perhaps. Btw I loved that bit when Ayesha is beginning to raise her voice at Basit and he says Behave. And she hits right back with You too! I loved that!

Soha's presence at Basit’s place is because she has sensed something is wrong between Ayesha and Basit and wants to insert herself in his life. Maybe Mansur uncle had shared his worries about Basit possibly divorcing Ayesha with Soha's dad. But initially Basit wasn't sharing anything with Soha but as she kept poking, he finally just started speaking. And he didn't even speak like he wanted to tell Soha everything but he said what was clearly playing on his mind right then which was what all Qudsia had said. He took out the anger that was broiling within him at Qudsia through what he told Soha. I liked one thing he said when Soha spoke about the lifestyle difference...about how this luxury didn't matter to Ayesha. Shows that he has finally learnt a bit about his wife. And I agree 100 percent it was awful of Basit to discuss Ayesha’s mum with Soha. Absolutely not done!

Also can I just say this....Basit is played with such nuance, his behaviour, the shades and the changes are so natural ... your heart just goes out to him. And Ayesha is like the perfect balance to that. She hardens as he softens, she wavers as he grows rigid and vice versa. It is like a dance going on between them when you are watching these two.

Also so true about the way Zoya is shaping up. She needs a wake up call. Promo promises us something of the sort I think.

Bano and Fahad won't happen for sure now. And yes, so disappointing that is for sure!

Will write about the last scene later in the week. Still stuck at the wedding...have rewatched it almost on loop. 😆

I agree with most of your points. I don't really get the reason why Basit got so involved with Soha at the wedding... Ok I can understand he was indeed being a good friend and a gentleman and didn't want to refuse when she asked him to go together but still with his wife there and their relationship being on a shaky ground, Soha's precence just made everything worse. Leaving Soha aside, I absolutely adored his behavior in the wedding... The fact that he held Ayesha's hand, proudly introduced her as his wife and finally wrapped his hand around her in order to pose for the photos 😍🔥 As for Ayesha, I think she is still hesitant and afraid to immediately believe in Basit once again... The humiliation, hurt and anger of being ousted from her husband's house prevent her from giving him a second chance wholeheartedly... All that combined with her stubbornness and insecurities is indeed a deadly mix... But even under these circumstances, the fact that she stood up to her mother and defended her choice of returning to Basit was such a treat to watch, especially if we remember the previous episode's scene in which she had already made clear that she doesn't want to get divorced or remarry.

Another thing I don't seem to totally grasp is Qudsia's attitude... I mean considering how rich Basit is she should have been Ayet's biggest shipper 😂 but no she wants some old man that her daughter hasn't even met once instead of her daughter's happiness... Some things never change I guess... And Zoya following the steps of her mother and becoming a totally unlikeable and negative character makes me feel sorry for Amir 😔 Also, the last scene had me literally dead... Basit’s anger, longing and concern were depicted so well in that particular scene...
