One thing is to explicitly state that hey this is who I am, I have male friends and I am physically affectionate or whatever, take it or leave it. One example of this would be Hina who was dating in BB11 but was very physically affectionate with both Priyank and Luv. I think that’s fair enough, then it’s upon your potential partner to see what they can handle or what they can’t.

The issue here is Soundarya did not do that. She embraced physical affection with Shalin, but tried to make it seem like she was being hit on and is uncomfortable therefore Shalin is a creep. This is not okay in anyway. You can’t just manipulate situations because you want to retain Gautam as a side piece.

Now that being said, Gautam doesn’t cross the line but also hugs Archana and everyone else which Soundarya doesn’t have an issue with. I would dare to say that if she did the same he might not be okay with it because he clearly doesn’t trust her or has double standards. Similarly he can’t force the person he likes to align with how conservative he is, if she doesn’t he should simply move on but she hasn’t told him clearly to F off and stop policing her.

Bottom line is either stand by your preferences and say it upfront or play the dumb card where in the other party feels you are some damsel who was sexually harassed to put it bluntly.
