It is is clever marketing no doubt .. to show the Luv kush story .. in Diwali time .. especially when they have 2 cute actors plus the story line so similar . Audience will reflect if not the Chavans .. kal diwali ke time they will show Ram leela ka main portion. . Not that audience has any expectation from virat

Strictly my opinion: I just saw the tweets. Mostly bashing Virat for Ram. I saw some tweets that called ALL the actors “shameless” for enacting Ram Leela.

My two cents:

• The trend is selective outrage.
• The actors have been given a role and they have to play it irrespective. The actors are enacting the role which is fiction in fiction. Why call them out. They are doing their job.

The convo where V is apologising and thanking Sai-- can some of you reviewers clarify that for me.. Bcz it felt to me like Virat wanted to say something more and meaningful but just then he looks at P and seems to change his mind and then his tone changes becomes less soft, more formal and the words then didn't seem to come from his heart, just upar upar se he was finishing but still trying to say something, then P jumps in between and says her crap about BOTH of them, P and V being grateful and the moment seemed to be lost.

But yeah, knowing and working the industry ( creative/ marketing) makes us thick-skinned for whatever happens or for that matter whatever crap is dished out in episodes.

It makes us more equipped with the ability of sitting down and enjoy some popcorn 😂

Rahi baat ram sita and other characters from mythology and ancient scriptures, there's a concept of character archetypes in core screenwriting.

ITV mein character archetypes nahi use hote.

And audience is failing to understand this.

There's absolutely no need to draw vague inferences - Ghum's characters and Ramayana characters.

Dusshera and Ram leela is a marketing agenda to encash on current festivities.

Character archetypes is altogether a different concept. So this debate and outrage of comparison doesn't make sense.

While we may draw inferences on what roles from mythology the characters can assume there can be no direct comparison of core qualities of the characters from mythology and Ghum Or any other show for that matter bcoz they are not character archetypes.
