Do any of you write a journal everyday?

And has it helped with your mental health?

a course of apple cider vinegar 1tbsp and honey diluted in hot water. A full glass every day for about 2 weeks. She doesn't get them anymore. Try it hope it helps.

Wow, so you put apple cider and honey in the water and drink it once a day, right? Will try it out. How much honey though? I will start having this for breakfast.😆

I have been taking feverfew supplements and they are great as well. Many people swear by it if you check the reviews. I have been dying for a permanent solution though so will try this out...I have tried beta blockers and what not but my migraines are horrible with vomiting😭

Hasini check this out

I used to, but then got lazy

Writing out your feelings definitely helps you cope better. It's a psychological strategy. Even writing stories/poems helps.

Shibu this thread is so informative. Great job and thanks for the initiative <333

We definitely need to spread more awareness and help people come out and share their feelings - help them cope instead of hiding it all inside and suffering alone.

Everyone is fighting their own inner battles. Every single person. No matter how happy and cheerful they look on the outside. Nobody's life is perfect so you should never feel alone.

I found this really wonderful IG channel on mental health and childhood trauma:

Thanks Hina and Tannu.

I like the idea of writing poems and stories.

And writing in third person.

I used to journal regularly in high school and until a few years after marriage. One day someone (won't disclose who) read my journal and I stopped. Since then, I email my feelings to myself whenever it's overwhelming.

Found this in Target today 😆

@BA - I find it disgusting to take the crutch of mental illness to air one’s dirty laundry in public. If someone has an issue with another IF member, they can take it up privately with the admin and moderators, instead of taking such open digs at others in the name of “preserving mental health.” Seriously, what’s wrong with you, man?!

I also find it rich that this holier-than-thou comment is coming from someone who unabashedly criticises everyone’s written work (except reflecting on the quality of their own stories, obviously). All this is coming from a person who writes unsolicited, patronising and disrespectful critique for a writer’s work, when all they had to be was kind and appreciative.

What do you think happens to the mental health of the writers you doggedly target publicly on the GA threads? Or does the thought that you are running roughshod over others’ sentiments, completely escape the myopic bitterness of your world?

Grow up, man. It’s never too late to move out of your own self-sabotaging patterns.
