R - now do the work
KK - yes miss
The two laugh and get down to doing the work, Aryan watches from outside, he smiles to himself then goes away.
Part 15
Aryan is in the gym working out, he lies on the bench and is about to grab the weight when he sees Ria in front of him smiling at him, he looks puzzled
Ar - what are you doing here?
Ria doesn't say anything but keeps smiling at him, Aryan smiles back at her for two seconds then stops
Ar - ok stop it you're scaring me
Aryan gets confused when Ria doesn't stop smiling, he gets fed up and sits up on the bench and turns around but Ria isn't there anymore, Aryan looks puzzled and turns his head around and jumps when he finds Ria sitting next to him on the bench still smiling away
Ar - ok don't do that again! stop with the freakish smiling and speak
Ri - I don't have a freakish smile!
Ar - yeah sure....now come on tell me what is it?
Ri - ok I'm tired of scaring you now, which was very funny by the way, ok so Tia wants to spend some time alone with Karan
Ar - and what am I supposed to do about it?
Ri - just listen first
Ar - ok carry on
Ri - as I was saying, they want to spend time together but they can't at my house because either mom or dad are there, and they can't at Karan's house because his parents are always there
Ar - I thought Karan was supposed to tell them about him and Tia?
Ri - I don't know anything about that, but yeah so they were hoping to come here
Aryan grins
Ar - yeah because my parents are never home right?
Aryan stops grinning and hits her head
Ar - my mom is always here, if she sees Tia and Karan together she'll tell Kripa aunty and Suhana aunty straight away then as well as them, I'll get in trouble aswell
Ri - I don't care about that, Tia keeps bugging me and I'm fed up so they call you the Godfather right....be the Godfather and do something about it
Ria stands up and folds her arms
Ri - I'm going home now, come up with a good idea...
Ria turns to walk outside but stops and turns back around
Ri - oh...and take a bath, you stink
Ar - do I now?
Aryan stands up in front of her and puts his arms out
Ar - Ria...
Ri - what?
Ar - give me a hug
Ri - hell no
Ria steps back but Aryan steps forward with his arms out, she turns to run and Aryan chases her, both are running around the gym when Kashish comes
Ka - Aryan why are you chasing her for?
Aryan stops, Ria runs and hides behind Kashish
Ar - mom, I was just....giving her a hug
Ka - by chasing her?
Ar - she wouldn't give me a hug
Ri - why should I? you smell
Ka - I'd have to agree with her
Ar - mom!
Ka - now stop behaving like kids
Kashish leaves, Ria stands by the door and sticks her tongue out at Aryan then runs off before he chases her again. Aryan sits on the bench and sighs
Ar - now how am I meant to come up with an idea? they leave me with the hard work so that they can spend time together....not fair, not fair at all
Aryan lies back down and continues his work out. Later that day, Aryan is in his room he paces towards the window while KK paces towards the door then Aryan paces towards the door and KK paces towards the window, as they do this Tia and Karan are sitting on Aryan's bed turning their heads side to side watching both of them pace up and down the room, Ria and Roshni are leaning against the cupboard looking bored. KK stops pacing
KK - ok, how about they stay in this room, we all stand guard outside and they can spend as much time together as they want
Aryan stops in front of KK
Ar - bad idea...no way am I letting them get all...lovey dovey in my room, next idea
KK is about to say something
R - don't even think about mentioning my room
KK closes his mouth and sits on the bed next to Karan
KK - I have no more ideas....Aryan think of something or we'll all be here all day
Ar - I have an idea
KK - what?
Ar - Karan and Tia....tell their parens they're an item....problem solved
Kar - next idea
Ar - ok since I'm very sweet....I'll convince my mum to invite Kripa aunty and Angad chachu over, and while they're here, you five can tell them that you need to study together so you'll be at KK's house, when you get there, you three stay in another room which Karan and Tia spend time together
R - bhai that's a great idea
KK - cool but how will you convince aunty to invite mum and dad round?
Ar - leave it to me
They all leave the room, the others go sit in the living room to watch tv while Aryan heads into the kitchen where Kashish is cutting vegetable, he picks up a carrot and pops it into his mouth
Ar - maa
Kas - what?
Ar - its been a while since Kripa aunty and Angad chachu came here...so why don't you invite them for dinner?
Kas - because they're busy people
Ar - mom....I doubt they're busy enough to spend time with their friends
Kas - why do you want them to come here anyways?
Ar - I needed to speak to chachu
Kas - then call him
Ar - yeah but wouldn't it be better if they came here, that way you can see them too
Kas - ....hmmm ok then
Ar - great
Aryan rushes into the living room and informs the others that Kashish agreed. Meanwhile Kashish calls Kripa and invites them to dinner, soon enough they arrive, th guys get ready to leave
K - where are you going?
KK - mom we have projects to work on for college....so we were going to go to our house and work on them
A - why don't you work on them here?
Kar - because it'll be quieter there
K - ok, but why is Tia going, I mean she's not in your class?
T - yeah aunty I'm not, but I might get bored...so...thats why I'm going
K - ok, see you
The guys head out of the house, KK looks at Karan and grins
KK - lets go
The guys head off to Angad's house. Meanwhile inside Aryan sits by Angad
Ar - chachu....
A - yeah?
Ar - you know we have two weeks break coming up right?
A - yeah
Ar - well I was thinking of taking the others on an outing....like to Goa...
A - thats a great idea....so what's the problem?
Ar - I was hoping you could talk to mom and dad...and Suhana aunty and Prithvi chachu?
A - sure son, anythingfor you kids
Ar - thanks chachu
Aryan heads upstairs while Angad begins to talk to Kashish and Sujal. Meanwhile at Angad's house, Ria, KK and Roshni are sitting in the living room watching tv while Tia and Karan are upstairs in Karan and KK's room.
Ri - I'm so bored!
Ria gets up and calls her friend, she goes back to Roshni
Ri - guys I'm going to go to a friend's house, she lives nearby, will be back in a while
R - ok
Ria leaves, KK and Roshni continue watching tv. Meanwhile upstairs Karan is lying on his bed with his head on Tia's lap, she runs her fingers through his hair
T - so when shall we tell our parents? I hate sneaking around
Kar - me too...but who knows what mom and dad will say....I can just imagine dad getting all angry at me saying I'm taking advantage of you
T - but you aren't
Kar - we know that.....its really scary
T - yeah it is....I'm so happy we're spending some time together....its really hard at home...
Kar - yeah it is, all thanks to Aryan, anyways Tia
T - yeah?
Kar - why are you with me?
T - meaning?
Karan sits up and faces her
Kar - I mean don't you find me boring?
T - come on Karan, I'm not answering that
Kar - no come on....
T - you can be a little boring....but not that much
Karan smiles, he shifts closer and puts his arm around her shoulders, she rests her head on his shoulder
Kar - you know I always thought you would like guys like KK
T - what? as in guys who are full of them selves?
Kar - no like cool guys...good looking
Tia reaches out and touches his cheek
T - you are cool and good looking...at least I think so
Karan smiles and pulls her closer and hugs her and kisses her forehead. Meanwhile downstairs KK is flicking through the channels, he glances at Roshni
KK - want an ice cream?
R - now?
KK - yeah?
R - ok then
KK gets up
KK - come on then
R - where to?
KK - to the cafe, to get some ice cream?
R - don't you have any at home?
KK - yeah but the cafe ice cream is better
R - what about Tia and Karan?
KK - they won't miss us
Roshni agrees and follows KK outside, she glances at him
R - which car?
KK - forget the cars, lets walk
R - ok
The two begin walking together side by side, KK makes small talk on the way, soon enough they arrive to the cafe and Roshni sits down while KK gets their ice creams, he then sits opposite her and both start having their ice creams, KK finishes his then watches Roshni while she has hers
KK - Rosh....
R - yeah?
KK - you like me don't you?
Roshni stops licking her ice cream and looks at him and smiles
R - of course KK, you're my friend
KK - no not like that.....I mean....you like me...more than a friend
R - wh....what makes you think that?
KK - I can tell....
R - how?
KK - from the way you look at me, the way you let me copy your notes, how you know my favourite things
R - KK don't be silly
KK reaches out and touches her hand, Roshni breathes deeply
KK - see, even my slightst touch does wonders to you
R - why are you asking me this?
KK - because if its true then there's things you need to know
R - like?
KK - answer my question first.....
Roshni finishes her ice cream, she looks at KK
R - yes, its true, I do like you...I always have
Roshni goes silent, she looks outside the window, KK breathes deeply and leans back against the seat
KK - Rosh....you need to stop liking me
R - why?
Roshni looks at him, KK leans forward
KK - come on Rosh you know me, I'm a player, a casanova
R - so? just because you're a casanova it means I can't like you?
KK - no...Rosh I may never like you the way you like me....we may never get together....I don't want to see you hurt
R - KK....just because you don't like me doesn't mean I'll stop liking you and it doesn't matter if we don't get together....I'm hapy with us as friends
KK - but Rosh...
R - mama always used to tell me that if something is meant to be then it will happen.....if we are meant to be together then one way or anther it will happen, if not then it was never meant to be
Roshni smiles, KK smiles back, he taks out money for the bill then stans up
R - KK...
KK turns around and sees she's still sitting, he sits back down
R - I love you....that's never going to change....but now what you know that...please don't ruin our friendship
KK nods his head and stands up again, Roshni also stands up, she walks to him and kisses his cheek
R - you're the best friend anyone can ask for...'m happy to know you...Kunal
Roshni walks outside, KK stands there for a while, he shakes his head, he hated people calling him Kunal, but whenever Roshni said it, it was ok. He sighs and leaves the cafe, he stands next to her
KK - lets go
The two walk back to KK's house but this time both are silent, when they get there Roshni simply goes inside like nothing happened but KK waits outside for a second, he breathes deeply then goes inside.
Coming up - Angad tries to convince SK and PS to let the kids go away.
