What would the makers get by making P positive? The only reason she works or her character is relevant is because of her potential to create problems for Sai and V. I agree that the TV audience doesn't ponder over each and every word, glance and mannerism like we do... but a villain is a villain. People don't forget that. Rather they expect the villain to flip any moment. With P what they are doing is the flips are not so prominent or there is no backdoor dealings like they have in other shows. It's all very subtle.

Even in the episodes post leap... P has not changed... not really... she still gets angry at Sai, shouts at her ...is diabolical and even manhandled Sai. Will the audience really believe that she has changed? Don't think so.

What would they get by making VP marriage a reality? The makers know that their scenes do not get TRP. Which is why every week there are few deliberate scenes that show Sai and V still feel for each other. Lollipops as we call them.

Kitna din dekhega koi... boredom aayega at some point of time with the lollipops as well. Most of us are already feeling it.

And what about the kids? TV audience doesn't know Vinu is biological. Even if they have changed tracks... Saavi is still biological child. Her popularity is increasing by all accounts and she is moping for her dad in every episode.

Vinu is dropping hints and everyone in CN too can see him getting attached to Sai... The bond is being established.

So will anyone accept the kids to go to the vamp? And the one who was indirectly responsible for miscarriage and directly for stolen surrogacy. It triggers people like some on our forum who have had personal experience with this. I totally understand how distressing it must be.

Would anyone really appreciate that?

My point is still this...

They will drag it as much as they can for reasons known to them and V would be the casualty. It would be troubling to see him like this because we do not expect a ML to behave like this. But with VP marriage... he is going to bear the most brunt of brutal writing... and just like TRP flips ... he will flip in a day... as simple as that.

Sai and V do not have much feelings for each other. Correct. It's at an all time low.

But like Msin keeps saying... in real life... people do stay back in loveless marriages for the sake of kids... ye to leads hai... agar ye nahi itna kar sakte to why would anyone watch? Maybe this is the reality Ghum wants to show... that they were in love... somehow it was lost but they managed to be together in the end for the kids... a very realistic portrayal like Ghum is often credited with. 👍🏼

If none of this is possible... might as well end the show so that we can leave in peace.

See nowadays all shows are doing bad. And there is no other story except Anupama which provides them - Drama + twist and turns. They love drama. They like to watch those which provide high voltage drama. Shows like SNS 1 was a huge hit because of rashi and kakdi ( kokila modi) 🤣 tashan 🤡.

Another shows which they used to watch before anu and ghum are Both the Bhagya's. You know how KB ruled TRP charts for consecutive 3 years. Just because of drama- the quintessential element for any show to work. Yes, ekta shows were a huge hit because of the suspense factor. Their mindset are really different from us - The online audience.

Sai had once told P that she herself is pushing V towards Sai by her actions. Today the statement stands true for Sai. Savi entered and it was shown as an auspicious sign. But how are we reading this? That Savi will bring Sai into the CN. But that could actually mean anything. Savi bringing prosperity into CN, and that has nothing really to do with Sai. I know I have made mythological reference, but in Ghum none of it is really considered.

Earlier it was V in love with P tied to Sai through marriage. What happened later? V fell in love with Sai.

V is in love with Sai but tied to P through marriage. So if it is a parallel then he should start falling in love with P. She has done everything to keep his family intact.

@Sway you said they are changing tracks. They definitely are. They were not sure if V-P will click with the audience. We know it is Sai who is pulling it, but somewhere trp audience has accepted this marriage, even if it to see the FL being tortured and drama around her.
So now they can continue with the V-P marriage.

Look how everything is presented to us giving us some positive hopes and signs, how they turn it completely in the opposite direction.

We expected Vinu’s adoption truth to bring some change in V-Sai relationship. But if you look at it carefully, this whole revelation was to make V-P bond stronger. The family to build which was non-existent. Vinu was not meant to bring V-Sai close, but V-P to get closer.
This is precisely why they kept adoption as a secret from Vinu even when he looked much older to have no recollection.
Vinu is now in a vulnerable state and V will do anything to keep him happy. And he will build that “Happy Family” that V wants with P.

Tomorrow even with revelations he is tied to this family. Because he has actually built one with P and Vinu. It is now not possible to retract because it means disturbing Vinu again.
Savi’s revelation is only going to make it worse. He will blame her for keeping his daughter away. And the family will like to keep the best. They can be the meanest. So snatch Savi and throw Sai out.
But V will also keep things away to ensure Vinu’s insecurity is not risen and Sai will agree. Till the family knows. V’s anger will detach himself from Sai and tilt himself towards P.

Even when Vinu’s identity is revealed there is nothing much for Sai. She has already lost him to V-P. And as a mother she will not want to disrupt his life.

No amount of truth and revelations can take away V from P. Not even an invalid marriage!
