Two monologues.
V - He looked at the picture and wondered if Sai felt nothing seeing him with P. So he at least confessed to himself that he did all this to make Sai jealous, to get some sign that she still loves him.
What if he got a sign? What if he saw that she was jealous? What next?
Will he leave P for Sai? Till now he has made it clear to himself and to everyone around that Sai is longer a part of his life. So how will it matter? What difference will it make? Only boost his ego?
Through his childish act, he was hoping that Sai still loved him. But how will that serve the purpose. Is he just happy making her more jealous and suffer? A revenge?
And if is doing this with a hope of reconciliation is there is a corrective measure possible? Does he really believe that after all that he is doing Sai will forgive him or accept him...just because she loves him? If that is really the case, Sai would not have even left him.
@ Sadhika - This does not add up like the other arguments we discussed. What is that is keeping his hope alive even when it is seemingly impossible. Also, V is unperturbed by P's confession. It is one thing to let go of someone's drunken act and it is different to ignore such bold and true statements. Is he that dumb to completely ignore the gravity of her words and emotions as just some gibberish of someone in an inebriated state?
P -
Today she confessed to herself that she meant everything she said and did not regret saying it. Because she could not say so in her conscious state. She fears that V will rebuke or retract from her. He may look down upon her or condemn her for feeling that way, since they agreed on a platonic relationship.
Yesterday she said, "Tum Sai ko humare beech se jaane kyon nahi de rahe ho?"
So she never moved on. No regret or repentance. She still believes that Sai came between them. And she is hoping that at least now V should let of that hurdle in their life. She never considered herself to be the third person. For her it has always been Sai.
I wrote this yesterday. We are in for more drama and Sai bashing and suffering. The reason is no one is changing. In fact now we have more characters revealing their true colors. Ashwini is the perfect example. She was supposedly a warm hearted woman, who never wished ill for anyone. Even when Sam returned and wanted to divorce, she was there listening to P's plight. Despite everything she wished well for P. But today she is so filled with hatred for someone she called her daughter that forgot even basic humanity.
So why will someone like Bk change? Yes, she may soften for Savi, but that will not extend to Sai. Sai was never accepted. We have seen enough parallels, where P's mistakes were covered and Sai's goodness was also looked down upon. Today she even pointed out that V started to speak back to her only after Sai came back. So why will she accept Sai.
She will make her life hell with that revelation. In fact everyone will be against her for keeping Savi away and try to snatch her away from Sai. I don't see Savi's revelation bringing any solace to Sai.
And with the way Savi is impressed, her inclination may just swing that side with her Baba coming into her life.
