His family had to sell RK studios because they didn't have the money to keep it running.

Ranbir himself is not poor. But he ain't some rich shehzada that someone like Katrina, who is rich herself, would hook up with for money.

And by that token, Vishesh is still successful, and Alia's personal net worth is more.
