Jesa weather chal raha hain if it continues Delhi wala wash out ho jaega 😆

Idk if I told you guys or not I am from Ranchi (never lived there) I was born there as it is my Nani and others lives there only.

I still remember when Dhoni hasn't shifted to his farmhouse.

His earlier house used to come in the way from Railway to my Nani's house.

I grew up crossing his house whenever was in Ranchi. 😆 and thought of meeting.

Woh toh abhi tak ho nahi paaya hain

But I still remember the smile I got from him few yrs back.

Wow what a memory and experience, getting smile from Dhoni and crossing Dhoni's house whenenever you were in Ranchi. Lucky you :)

As clinical as it gets from India's second-string brigade. An effort the A-listers would be proud of. Now, 278 wasn't intimidating but on a pitch where the older ball looked tough to score off, it certainly was a challenge. More so againt this youngish Indian batting line-up. The task at hand compounded when senior pro Dhawan and a fluent-looking Gill departed inside the first powerplay. Given how things panned out last game, SA were surely sniffing blood at this stage but that's when the matchwinning partnership between Kishan and Iyer came to India's rescue. Both were fluent from the get-go, and being excellent players of spin meant that they were able to thwart whatever challenges the visitors threw at them. Kishan capitalised fully on his favourable matchups, destroying the left-arm spin duo and later on, also took the pacers apart as well. Iyer was his usual calm self and this mayhem allowed him to pace his innings well. Kishan was unfortunate to miss out on a century, but by the time he fell, the result was all but decided. Samson gave Iyer company for the remaining formalities, and the latter eventually got to a deserving ton. SA will be disappointed with this loss, they would have wanted another 15-20 runs perhaps, but it's also true that dew did make the chase a tad easier for the Indians.

An emphatic win for India as they level the series 1-1. Earlier, their bowlers pulled things back in the last ten overs of the first innings after 70s from Hendricks and Markram. Dhawan and Gill fell early in the chase but Kishan and Iyer steadied the innings before Kishan went on the aggressive. He was unlucky to miss out on his maiden ODI hundred by seven runs. But Iyer didn't miss the chance despite struggling with what looked like cramps. He stayed unbeaten on 113 off 111 balls, with Sanju Samson also chipping in with an unbeaten 29 off 36.

Ishan Kishan: Feeling good, it's 1-1, so very excited to play the decider at Delhi. Really happy about with the way we contributed to the team. It is my home ground, there were too many people watching. When I was fielding they were asking me to get a hundred today, unfortunately I missed it. No worries, I'm just happy that my team won the game today and maybe in the next game I will give my best and make my team win again. It's difficult here sometimes, because I played so many matches in Ranchi, it is not easy for the new batters to score runs, so we were looking to play according to the merit of the ball and not to play any harsh shots, and it's a matter of putting the pressure on the other team as well and the positive mindset helped a lot. Nortje, Rabada are too quick and sometimes the ball isn't coming on properly and stopping a touch and the next ball it was coming really quick. So, I was planning to go for it if it was near my chest and not to play a pre-determined shot if the ball is not there. So I was just trying to put the ball in the gap and it went my way.

Sowmya : "Shreyas Iyer played the situation very well. He was wiser, allowed Ishan to shift gears, ensured the strike was rotated while capitalizing on the loose balls. Deserves to be MOM! "

Mustafa Moudi : "India lost the last match due to poor selection. Firstly, they lacked 6th bowling option. Secondly, They were a Batsman short as Thakur was their No. 7. And lastly, their Top 6 was Full of Openers, you can consider them as Middle Order Batsmen but never a Finisher. But today they solved all those issues in the Team Selection and as a result ended up on the winning side!!"
