Sumbul and Shaleen's situation

TLDR/ long post alert

My observation so far on some things

Tina - apke aur sumbul ke bich kuch hai?

Shaleen - are kya bat kar rhi ho, bachi hai woh.

Next day. Sumbul is getting jealous even watching shaleen flirting with Soundarya along with Gautam

Cries in the corner. Shaleen comes & asks.

Sumbul crying - mujhe sab bachi samajh te hai. I don't fit in. You r someone jisse i knew ke mere banegi.

Shaleen who legit told Tina yesterday that Sumbul is indeed bachi says - Nhi. Aap toh bohot muture ho apke age ke hisab se. Kuch logo ne mujhe kal point out kya jaise ke aap aur mai dost hai, aap beshak mera haat pakdiye, matlab abi bhi pakad sakti hai but log isko kaha se kaha leke ja rahe hai. Mai aurto ki boht izzat karta hu blah blah *insert bashan & ended up with doing chugli about Tina indirectly*

He sounded hypocritical however it proves why sumbul was trying to play the alone card/misfit card since this morning because after Tina confronted Shaleen he started staying a bit alerted & also subtly told how their relationship is being perceived by others so they should maintain distance which I kind of appreciate in this whole situation.

I thought they had known each other before seeing how Sumbul was giving backhugs and unnecessary hugs, touchy feely out of nowhere. But this conversation made it clear they didn't in fact know each other.

I am nowhere supporting shaleen or anything but on my observation I saw Shaleen not really trying to apporach sumbul first or take initiative at all. today shaleen told sumbul but tomorrow he might prey on her we never know. I find his whole encounter pretty manipulative tbh

But people are like sumbul needs to stay away from shaleen whilst she herself isn't an angel herself or damsel in distress. The whole crying over "age" is very illogical. Being young or old is not something demeaning. Once me being neutral towards sumbul now she is pretty much on my dislike list. Feel free to agree or disagree. Thanks

From whatever little I could make out from watching the past episodes is that Sumbul has grown really comfortable with Shalin and I'm guessing she's a very touchy-feely person in general so for her to get this physical with a "friend" isn't a big cause of worry.

I don't necessarily think she harbors any feelings other than of friendship for Shalin but I could be wrong given how she never really said she only considers him a friend. She was very vague about what he actually is to her so it very well could be a crush in its nascent stages.

Shalin showed a rare moment of emotional intelligence when he decided to take a step back and water down his interactions with her. I do believe he's smart enough to realise that this friendship won't be well received in the outside world if people get even the most miniscule hint of a budding romance given his past and the huge age gap between the two. I feel his concern was more for his benefit than hers to be honest.

Coming to Sumbul feeling like she's being dismissed outright because of her age, I do believe she genuinely feels left out but I don't think it has anything to do with her age. The people or alliance so to say she's with, is a one of convenience and not one formed out of genuine friendship. She is not a priority for any other member of that group, she was only welcomed into it because she was close to Shalin at that point and they wanted him on their side and naturally Sumbul tagged along. I feel so because they never really acknowledge her or even ask for her opinion on things, she's always taken for granted by them. Even yesterday, Nimrit was more into having a discussion with Tina about something while Sumbul who was also there wasn't even made eye contact with.

Sumbul might be equating these to her age but frankly speaking, I'm like almost certain they'd do the same to her even if she was a decade older. She's being pushed around because she hasn't stood her ground.

I don't mind her being friendly with Shalin but she needs to keep it at that. Any budding feelings in her heart, if they exist, need to be squashed because that man is a chalta phirta red flag. He's a circus no one should buy tickets to.

It was just yesterday when the entire house supported her to win the reel task and now within 24 hours, she is feeling alone. Lol

Some have pointed out that how well she was treated during imile.she was the star there. So maybe she wants that sort of attention and pampering from all.

shalin is two faced guy he is using sumbul for game however one thing i can say he has no interest to create love angle with her

as of sumbul, idk out of everyone why she got shalin to rely on or be close with 🤓

Those who supported her did it for their own personal gains. That support was not for her but for themselves and maybe she realised it. It's a far cry but not completely unimaginable.

Had she been pitted against the likes of Gautam or even Shalin, it would have played out completely differently .

Given how young she is, there's a fair chance that she's unaware of his past. So far, Shalin has portrayed himself as the perfect gentleman. She may not be able to see through this facade of his unlike us viewers.

Also in LF, we can clearly see shalin ignoring her after Tina's question about his relationship with her. So I can see why she felt left out.

I feel sad for sumbul!!
