Seeing Ram’s actions post leap, I am getting this idea that he never actually loved Priya. It was just that he was getting used to staying with her and getting overwhelmed seeing her readiness to do anything for him including being ready to die!! If you really love somebody, you will try to find out a few basic things in his/her life like birthday, hobby, fav food… Here we come to know in post leap, he didn’t even know when Priya’s birthday was. So much for this selfish love. He was loving Priya as long as things were going in his favor!! Being soft doesn’t make a good person. He’s right, for him his family consists of only N, S and V and now Pihu since she’s his daughter. I wonder, does he know when Pihu’s b’day is? He hasn’t shown any interest in knowing about Pihu’s initial years including her birth in jail, leave alone how Priya and Pihu survived through this 5 years. Does he still come out a loving, considerate man or a shallow selfish person?
I had meant to write on this last night. But got busy.
Ram as a character can be never called considerate in my POV. But he can be loving. Like if Pihu asked him that she wants xyz for her birthday tomorrow he would go to the ends of the earth to get it for her. But he will never remember her birthday on his own .
Ram only knows how to show his love by granting wishes as if he was a genie. Remember Shivi, the sister that was like a daughter. We knew he loved her unconditionally but he never could get her. He arranged marriage for her with out realising she might not like it, so no he wasn't considerate but when she broke down and told him the truth, he did everything to rectify it.
Then when his mom wanted to cancel the marriage, he agreed like a genie was he considerate of Shivi feelings , no but doesn't mean he didn't love her.
So yeah Ram is a Genie of sorts with no Brain 🤣. Not shallow to only think of himself but never considerate to think of others as well.
