I liked Amba in today's episode too- Arvi and Bhshre both rightly guessed that she'd sort things out! š
So that was the reason behind having her in the background for the Dev/HP confrontation in the parking area!
She also cried when Dev reprimanded her- which showed fair bit of emotion (not the cold hearted types). And without her, HP would've never got the ViDev pose out of his mind- the worth of her words cannot be underestimated.
I just hope the makers keep this grey characterisation of hers intact, and also give a solid reason why Dev isn't into her. Unfortunately when Dev falls for Vidhi, the ITV trope would be to make her a full fledged villain. š
Even Kanika felt slightly guilty for dragging Amba into the mess!
I didn't think HP would remember that ViDev scene so vividly, but he did. As Bhshre says, ViDev might then not come as a complete shock for him when it happens.
And precap- Vidhi in full Sawaar loon mode with the coat š
Amba was the star of the episode for me todayšš Even if she had an ulterior motive even if she is grey still I liked that she owned up to her mistake and narrated everything quite honestly to Vidhi's parentsš And honestly speaking, I found Dev quite unnecessarily rude to herš¤ idk what is their back story but still he shouldn't have talked to her like that.
Actually, they better have a strong back storyš I am very intrigued by their story now. The way Dev talks to her it looks like they know each other quite well. And it has always bothered me why Dev didn't fall for Amba. I mean she is not a bad person overall (as far as we have seen till now), is smart, beautiful, successful, treats his family well and is quite similar to Dev that she also didn't marry due to family responsibilities. So what was the problem?
@bold- thats the best result of today's episode 𤣠HP finally bringing Dev down from the pedestal 𤪠Abb lagta hai Sasur-damad mein ladayi hoti rahegi š¤Ŗ
