Agreed about Cheeni but fortunately Megha has such a strong presence that she makes up for it in most scenes. The Cheeni worship does not compute. Imlie I can understand to an extent but not Atharva. The only time I have liked Cheeni is her scenes with Rupi. That's where her vulnerabilities come out and she is humanized. I want to see more of that, not petty games like the salon scene.

On top of that the child actor, Keva, who played Cheeni was a firecracker; a natural! This Cheeni hasn't been able to do her justice. I would have understood the Cheeni worship if the grown-up Cheeni had some likeness to the child Cheeni.

I'd say reduce your expectations from cheeni.. and esp rupi.. all she has done all this time is just be a loudspeaker actual hollow hain yeh sab retained characters and cheeni is like xerox of her maa who can only scheme and play victim

No it's not just you....I've also noticed something is off with Megha ka makeup. They are deliberately trying to give her thoda sa unkempt look to downplay her beauty in front of Cheeni ji😆. Kinda cakey sa makeup kiya hai Megha pe....but then again makeup department has usually been off in this show so I guess kya hi expect karein😆.

How I wish woh 3 dots look nahin force kiya hota Megha pe bhi but oh well guess we'll have to live with it.

Rupi ki uselessness pe toh I can write an essay😆....but no point getting into it. She's just a mouthpiece in the show as always.

The writing for Cheeni is very obviously shallow and the amount of scheming vamp monologues they are already showing on her make the arc of her character pretty clear. She will only get worse once Atharva full on falls for Imlie and starts defending her against Cheeni.

Cheeni is the reason that Imlie's personality has been suppressed all these years and she enjoys keeping Imlie under her thumb.....once Atharva starts to bring Imlie more out of her shell, Cheeni is going to resent the balance of power shifting.

Yup that..what is funny is thisnine doesn’t herself has any feeling for atu as well.. she really didn't bother or care about him troll karne main busy thi.. until now that she found out he is rich and even now the only pull is he is Rich not anything real and only drive is I will snatch the toy from imlie too but then again yeh toh toy jitna bhi nahi . I an sorry but there is absolutly no humanizing to those who just want to destroy. The fact that all this for what? She has no attachment no emotional attachment to either her sister or this guy but nah sab cheen lena hai way to be a life ruiner

To be very candid, there is no point expecting this Cheeni to align with the child actor Cheeni. Grown up Cheeni's only function is to be a third wheel/vamp creating problems in the lives of Athlie.

I didn't find her scenes with Rupi convincing or humanizing either....it makes no sense to hate on someone just cuz you feel their Naamkaran took away people you considered your parents😕. So I'm not looking for any humanizing in Cheeni cuz I know she will remain a shallow pain just like her psycho mom Malini was till the end.

On top of that the actress they've cast as grown up Cheeni has a nasally annoying voice too and is a pretty limited actress who definitely does not have the charisma to carry the show.

I can only hope makers realize they need to give Karan-Megha that space for their characters to make that proper impact rather than forcing Cheeni in everywhere....her self-pity party doesn't move me one bit.

I am completely with you and I have zero expectations from this Cheeni. The point I was getting at is that if grownup Cheeni had any of the charm, presence, and intelligence of kid Cheeni then I would understand the worship. This Cheeni just doesn't hold a candle so all we can do is go along with what is being said in the show, that she is some great beauty and personality even though it's not translating.

I am not convinced by any of her scenes but they do humanize her at time when with Rupi. I feel the makers should take those scenes and conversations, and build on her character otherwise she is coming across very hollow. Her reasoning for her behaviour is illogical and her anger misdirected but at least in those moments, I can feel that she truly loved and misses her adoptive parents; a redeeming quality.

The makers are completely off-track not utilizing the chemistry and acting of Karan-Megha. Cheeni can be utilized in better ways. Give her a track where her father (be it whichever actor) is brought back, lets tackle the abandonment issues through a proper avenue instead of this forced sibling rivalry.

No thank you his father isn't his father ..plz spare him he has left the country for good..he didn't abandon her if anything it is the great maa and her naani ji..we canno5 discuss season 1 do leave it at that but we don't need the guy to be reminded of the torture and the violation on him thanks he has suffered enough... he has nothing to do with this kid never had..those who are responsible that is the r couple and malini should be contacted for however she is and blamed or appreciated thanks 🙏

Props to Atharav for actually voicing out what he feels/wants before putting the ring on Imile👍🏼 He didn’t give into the pressure at the time instead chose to talk it out. His father gonna blackmail him I suppose and he’ll give in 😆But for now, I’m happy with him 👍🏼
