Haunting image, yes.. But I do find it beautiful artistically.. Basit sits there, all alone in his big empty house.. He sits there in the center, there where he hoped to see Ayesha.. There, where he asks for her.. She is home to him now.. She gave him company and without realizing he got so accustomed to her presence.. Being with her, talking to her, listening to her and following her advices.. It has all become a habit.. Not love.. Not yet.. But this weird kind of liking.. He is realizing it, slowly.. There is probably more we can read from this image. Such as that ray of light shining in through the door in the back.. It seems to be not fully closed.. It tells me, there is hope. There is love.. I have looked up the meaning of her name.

Not sure which one to follow.. Love, being well and alive, freedom-loving and free-spirited person.. Very interesting, especially with Habs as the title of the series.

Of course, then I also checked for the meaning of Basit's name.. The giver of prosperity..

Well.. Interesting.. Perfect names, they have given this a good thought it seems..

I have read bits and pieces of your lovely analysis here on forum. Some I did agree with 100% and then on some topics I did have a different opinion or your reasoning did change my mind somewhat.

Twerps, I have read your piece on birth order. So interesting! For sure I am getting back to that one. There is so much to say about that and I encourage you all to read more about that too.

I think the team has done a fabulous job in researching all elements or... It is really a lucky shot that all adds up so well..!

Rishu, reading this first thing on waking up totally set my mood for the day!

Love the way you analysed the image. Especially the part about the light at the far end of the photo...like light at the end of the tunnel. Whoever selected this particular frame really has a fine poetic sense. Sitting there, legs stretched out, head bent, Basit is a picture of despair and melancholy. This makes the second time Basit looks towards the kitchen while roaming through his house, possibly thinking of Ayesha. The first was in ep 14 after Ayesha left following the argument and him raising his hand. That time we knew for sure that he was indeed thinking of Ayesha. This time he is angry at her and possibly doing his best to simply forget what he sees as her betrayal, her very presence in the house. But even that deliberate not thinking of someone actually signifies how much he is invested in her, thoughts of her presence in his life and his home. Instead of going up to his room, Basit sits down in the kitchen, possibly driven by his subconscious need for the warmth and comfort that Ayesha brings in his life.

next the names!!! Rishu, wow! Rishu wow! I had looked up Basit's name earlier...giver of prosperity and thought it very fitting. But never thought of looking up the meaning of Ayesha's name. From what you say, it really does seem like a lot of thought has gone into this. Taking a page out of your book, I also looked up Fahad. It means both "counsellor"...again very apt...but also it means panther or a large swift-footed member of the cat family. This means he is not simply a saint either but has his own ferocity. Bano means begum, wife, princess...essentially homemaker...things we don't really see her as yet. In fact, she has been denied that role.

I really hope you find time to write something for the story challenge. Meanwhile tagging Sarce, in case, she feels inspired..

Things would’ve never escalated had Fahad or his mom taken a hint and left early for Basit to enjoy his time with Ayesha ☺️ He was pissed because they ruined his Sunday 😂
