India could look at Bumrah to predominantly bowl the tough overs at the back-end of the innings, while Bhuvneshwar is used mainly in the Power play.

An able alternative to Harshal Patel, who went for 0 for 49 in the series opener, is Deepak Chahar. Australia's top six consisted of right-handers in the opening game, and that could mean Yuzvendra Chahal getting another chance.

What they said:

"As a team, we want to get better. Losing teaches you a lot and where we can get better. We are a process driven team and by the time the World Cup comes, we will make sure and get our processes better and see where we can improve," Hardik Pandya, after the opening game.

18:00 local time | 2nd T20I | Nagpur: Hello. We've made the jump, from the predictable runfest of Mohali to the serious unpredictability of Nagpur. From bouncy, to a belter, to a minefield, to a two-paced surface, this pitch has gone through the entire range, and there's really nothing you can prepare for. Or possibly, there's everything for you to prepare for. One thing's certain, this should be a cracker ..

Pitch report | Ravi Shastri: Pretty overcast and it is very humid. This pitch looks tacky. Normally teams winning the toss bat first. With the rain around, teams might want to do otherwise. There is a darkish look to the pitch which suggests that the covers have been on. It is dry as well. The ball will hold up and turn. The par score is 150, and it shouldn't change much.

Right, Jasprit Bumrah is expected to walk back in tonight, which should help fix the Indian bowling puzzle, that to be fair, is in tatters. A direct swap with Umesh Yadav should do the job. Harshal patel and Bhuvi Kumar would enjoy bowling here as well, and their slower cutters off a back of a length into the pitch, would be a proper handful. Although these aren't even close to the conditions they could expect at the World Cup, getting some confidence back is never a bad thing, however it comes.

Toss delayed due to wet outfield

The toss has been delayed because the outfield is still wet from all the overnight rain. There are a couple of wet patches that are of concern, and so, the next inspection is scheduled for 19:00 IST.

The Aussies look sorted. They have all bases covered. Three all-rounders, a gun spinner, three solid pacers, and a firing top-order. What else do you even need ..
