same here.. meeting such selfish toxic people changes you for life.. and as introvert you close your shell even tighter to not to get hurt again in future but then you also learn to choose your tribe wisely in future.. i had similar situations too learnt a lot from them

Part 11 perspective

At Night

Dev slept peacefully under the influence of alcohol

Vidhi was on other hand quite disturbed with everything going on , on one hand a few people who were close to her actually cared for her started distancing from her, person she could rely on has shown his other side , side which she didn't knew existed. Her colleagues especially those two interns initially she thought that they were her friends now finds pleasure in her misery.

She had fever and headache after taking medicine it took a lot of time to feel okay again and then she slept around 1-2 pm.

In morning

Dev woke up early he felt fresh as he slept peacefully after so long without thinking much . He got ready and remembered how he said bad night to vidhi he felt bad for her he loved her seeing her hurt would never make him feel happy and due to alcohol he forgot so many things he said to her . He thought I can't do this to her i will give her space until I can act rationally again she doesn't deserve this . Dev you don't deserve her his inner voice said . His mind but I am trying my best

Heart but you are hurting her

Mind okay with love comes jealousy

Heart you love her so it's your responsibility to handle your emotions why you are hurting her

Mind she likes me she needs to realise this

Before heart could say anything he received a call from head office about the project meeting that it is postponed

He went to office and started staring at her cabin she wasn't there . It was already 11.30 am how can she be so late earlier she used to inform him or Suresh Kumar if she would come late . He has some urgent work so got busy and after half an hour realised she is still not here . He called in hr dept and asked about her if vidhi has come to office or not or she gave any leave application. But they had no information. all his anger turned into guilt he got reminiscences of yesterday's event as he was sober and memory of those hurtful words became clearer. He couldn't believe he could be piece of trash to the girl who has been nothing but sweet to him always respected him cared about him trusted him. He hasn't spoken like this to any women in his life he called the driver and asked him to go and search for her . Driver fed his doubts sir what if mam got terrified and left for her native place she lives alone here her family lives in another city. Sir she is so sensitive and innocent sir dev said please go and search all other things we will discuss later

Dev kept calling her but she didn't received.

On other hand vidhi got up late got an message from bank to submit some urgent documents. And she kept her phone on charge and went to bank without realising that it's too late . Mobile was almost discharge so she switched off the phone and kept it on charging started doing her work and went to bank. It was almost 12.45pm when she came back from bank went to her home took her bag mobile she switched on the phone and kept in naf without checking messages or calls , she had chaos in her mind and hear with everything going on and straight went to office she was searching for auto Rahul ( new guy in office) saw her and Rahul offered her lift . Vidhi and Rahul both came together.

Vidhi entered in office campus dev was looking at entrance from so long (from his cabin's window) he saw vidhi with Rahul and all his guilt care love disappeared. He knew his jealously would make him stoop lower than yesterday. He closed the curtains and sat on his chair called the peon and asked him to call vidhi in his cabin as soon as she comes.

Vidhi came to her cabin and peon arrived. Vidhi didn't wanted to face dev after yesterday but she can't do anything he was her boss. She went to Dev's cabin

She said may I come in sir😕

Dev huh ..come in madam, how your date went?😡

(Dev is sitting on his chair vidhi is standing in front of his table )

Vidhi kept silence she didn't knew what he was saying😒

He continued after pause sorry but you can enjoy after office hours. I don't give you salary to go on dates. Maybe you took that beauty dialogue seriously still wasting on wrong person. 😔

She kept silent she just couldn't understand what he was saying his behaviour from yesterday made her realise that he can go to any length to hurt her but character assassination and time waste she couldn't connect the dots.

She looked at wall clock it was 1 pm her alarm rang.

( Today project meeting was organised by head office at 3 pm so she kept the alarm as she and her team with dev was going to present it to client)

On other hand dev thought it's message ring tone so got angry stood up from his chair and snatched her mobile and threw it in dustbin.

She couldn't hold her anger any longer and shouted 😡

What the hell do you think about yourself, always shouting insulting other's don't you have ear just a mouth for once listen what rubbish you speak

I keep thinking may be I or other colleagues made some mistake we made you angry but no you are just plain egoistic angry man

Who will pay bill of mobile repairing.😡

He got shocked. Couldn't believe his ears that the girl who hardly talks, even in parties or informal meets never raised her voice is shouting that too on her boss.🤔
