Hi! The last time I logged onto to IF was for BALH1, which was also the last time I followed a serial. And then I watched IKNMP and really enjoyed rewatching it during the lockdown. When I saw the first promo of Appnapan, with talented actors like Rajashree Thakur and Ceazanne Khan, I was sure this was going to another amazing Balaji-Sony collab.
What got me to break my silence and comment here is, how a good show is going down the drain due to bad writing.
I don't understand Pallavi. Since the first episode she's hated Nikhil. And every time up until episode 49, their relationship has progressed 1 step and gone back 5. And after the argument they had in the hotel room where Nikhil tells her that Sonali was right about her and he would continue with the custody case, no one would expect her to put up the show that she is. I understand that she is doing it for her ex-MIL, but she was very easily convinced by Nikhil. (Even in IKNMP, Ragini and Neil are forced to act as a couple for their children, but, they took their time and discussed how they'll go about it and also, all their misunderstandings were cleared by then which is not the case here).
Ever since they started living together, she has softened so much for Nikhil and behaves like a real wife who is okay with all the nonsense that Nikhil does. I mean, his mother is sick so she doesn't hate him

But I also don't like how she's being treated by Nikhil sometimes. He barely cares about her, at least so far we've not seen him look after her expect 1 or 2 lone instances.
Another point where IKNMP was better was the leads communicated at least because they were sharing the bedroom. Our leads work together, live together and even probably travel to work together, but we don't get to see them communicate at any point? Why is the writing so patchy and abrupt? It makes no sense to me and yet I continue to watch for the actors.
There's so much more that I want to write, but all in due course. This is my first time writing here, please bear with me and apologies in advance if anyone is offended or thinks I'm wrong. Thanks!
@pink The thing is Angel, that Nikhil's charachter bis highly unexpresseive in his way, but his all point is he loves Pallavi more than any a lady
..otherwise Nik never had been clear to sonali before marriage that he loved pallavi and not Sonali...
There waz many times where he saved her from losing many things just as a husband does...he bought amma's kitchen just to save pallavi from giving a huge amount of money to Harsh, when he was at his peak of anger...
He even cleared to all that if Pallavi has any relationship to anyone else, its her choice...but contradictorily he fears a lot of the same thing.. And over reacts to it more...
He has his own sets of goods and bad...which is natural ..and no one is either a god over earth...but he is unexpressive of his love, but he has love only for his family...
Yes but its true that, Nik fears that lest he wont lose her to any other man, and so he is bit annoyed to Ranveer, but even his and Ranveer's convo are also matured one if you have seen the episodes so far...
And as a person, he can have a fear or jealously...but now after Sonali came, he is understanding how its painful when someone misunderstands you for no reason...as he misunderstood Pallu..
Yes its true even I feel sometimes that its writing is going bit bifurcated from its original plot and writing only to make a triangle love..even we are not much liking it... Cos its hampering its simplicity and making it "hautch pautch"...Right now, everyone either expects dadi knows the truth cos its much authentic,
but its true even that without Dadi's charachters they wouldn't communicate this much as they do now...
Right now Sonali's track can only be potential, if she would manipulates the kids and their reaction to sonali would lead to exploration of kids charachter more...and thus ultimately the kid would reunite together to make their parents together ...
And yez, Hopefully it better ends after reunion and not exxagerates more...
