Technically sai is alive, so to validate the marriage sai has to divorce Virat.

7 yrs didn’t pass right. Sai was still practicing and if she was presumed dead her identity should have been closed but it wasn’t.

Also Virat can’t fight for savi thanks to marrying pakhi.

Let’s see who invalidates the marriage this time.

You can remarry only after 7 years of your spouse's death?That looks strange. Is it really in the law?

No you can marry after spouse's death. I have someone whose wife died of cancer and he remarried in one year.

But if the wife is missing or deserted, you have to wait i guess.

No that's not the point. If u are living separately from your spouse without a legal divorce, and seven years have elapsed, then automatically the marriage is null and void

If ur spouse is missing, untraceable, then you to wait for 7 years , I guess to remarry.

Here Sai's name was in dead persons' list. So he assumed he can marry legally.

Yes wait for 5 yrs n missing cases. Plus 2 yrs extra. Think they need to give missing advt n paper etc. Then get some affidavit from court and then marry..

But even if it's less than 7 yrs, they will make Sai give divorce like n Shrutis case..or Sai herself will give.

Before Sai gives, BK should know about Savi being Varis and stop the divorce. It will be fun then.

Yes, only if the body isn't found or spouse goes missing etc.

Otherwise you can marry after a spouse's death, normally after getting the death certificate.

But there is a blind spot. He didn’t cremate her body nor did he see it, he believed the piece of paper that said she’s dead and the saree piece he found. Usha maushi called them for the accident and sai went back to her in GC so UM would have called or they would have called her informing the death. This is why I feel someone knows that she was alive all this while
