These are the main people behind it

On ground, boycott trends don't affect the box-office outcome of any film

Even if Brahmastra eventually flops, its opening should show clearly that the boycott bots have zero power.

I don’t live there so I don’t know. I’m really Apolitical so I don’t like commenting on it. I hope not

I mostly support the boycott gang. So, if the gang is actually powerless, I guess the silver lining is that from now on no blame for failure will come on boycott gang or any herd mentality or phobias or whatever. The anti boycott gang who were trending on twitter after the zomato ad turned out to be big time clowns for putting effort against a basically powerless gang. For all those who actually spend money on tickets just to prove a point to the boycott gang, well, everyone knows what happens to a fool and his money. Disappointed but will look at the brighter side.

Even boycott gang right to boycott movie. Its their freedom of expression. Why FOE is always one way process on this form. BW can make any shit in the name of art but people dont have right to boycott. What logic is this lol

It is not public but it is BJP, Sangh Parivar who have been attacking Bollywood, ads, businesses, academia, NGOs, minorities, progressives, media for ages now.

You can clearly see which IDs and verified accounts spread propaganda against Bollywood and which channels on TV spread hate against Bollywood, unis, writers etc.

Who do you think Republic, Times Now, verified IDs like Shefali Vaidya are affiliated to? Which channels give platform to Kangana, Anupam, Vivek?

Bajrang Dal prevented Alia and Ranbir from going to temple.

You can see RW YouTubers also spreading propaganda against Bollywood. It is NO WAY a natural public reaction but sustained manufacturer propaganda by RW from last several years way before SSR died. SSR was also bashed for doing Kai Po chhe, PK, Kedarnath, and saying he wanted to remove Rajput from his surname after seeing Karni Sena attack Bhansali.

I have read from an insider on Twitter that Akshay was rather enjoying hate against Khans and sorta encouraged it as he has never been able to attain their level. But it backfired on him due to his old interviews going viral from OMG days and also due to anti RW tirades of his wife Twinkle. The anti nepo and anti Muslim gang came after his wife who is star kid.

Ajay and Deols are other frustrated competitors who enjoy tirade against Khans based on faith.

This assumption that non nepo kids also encourage tirades against nepo kids or even communal card to upstage rivals is having weight behind it.

In 80s, some lobbies in BW had targeted Sikh origin singers and music directors and took advantage of issues in Punjab to foment hate against Sikh origin musicians and slowly get them outta work from industry. Same is being done since last few years to target Khans with all attempts to link them to ISI, mafia etc.

Check out jobless bhakts making announcements outside theatres asking people to boycott Ranbir and Brahmastra, do you think it is possible for ordinary people to do it? Same tactics were used outside cinema halls by so called communal senas when LSC released:
