No denying his popularity and stardom, but they do address people as Sir. Even in Kapil Sharma's show SSR, RC and Jr. NTR called him as Sir and vice versa. The whole comment section on YouTube is filled with appreciation on how they are calling him as Sir🤣🤣. Even while giving IV to Bhuvan Bam, who is a YouTuber and influencer, they called him as Sir. So calling RK as Sir is not a surprise IMO. May be when they got familiar with each other, they would have started calling each other by names.

Though age wise he is younger, in stardom and in acting he has always been baap of Ranbir. He hails from a bigger film family than Ranbir, and enjoys a cult like following from his fans so no way he would address any of these chindi stars as sir.

So? As if Ranbir does not fall on HW stars' feet. Big B doesn't call Pacino, "Sir." Just like HW is bigger than BW and big/khandani BW actors are nobody in HW, all these BW biggies aspire to be a HW actor no matter what they say, similarly BW is bigger than Teluguwood, Telugu actors Sir-Sir's BW actors, Telugu actors aspire to be BW actors.

Even Kamal Hasan addresses interviewers as Sir. Calling Sir out of politeness and good manners is one thing but one is addressed as Sir when the other person is senior/superior to him. My response was to the post where it was implied that the NTR Jr considered Ranbir as senior/superior.

I don't know whether the person who made the post implied this or not.
