What makes AryLie's love story so unique and special to me is the way they fell in love. It wasn't because of the trip-fall-catches, or the hand touches, or the intense eyelocks. They fell in love with who they were as individuals. Aryan fell in love because he saw Imlie's fire, he saw that she was a fighter, a survivor, someone who had worked hard to get where she was, someone who had suffered much but still had kindness inside her. He saw the potential she had and he came to respect her first, before falling in love with her. Imlie fell in love because of the way her ABP always stood by her, supported her, helped her grow and become better, the way he guided her and mentored her, the way he always treated her as an equal, a 50-50 partner, but most importantly, the way he always trusted her no matter what, something that she didn't get from her previous relationship. Their story was developed beautifully and actually had substance and meaning instead of just fluff. This is what makes them unique.
Having said all this, having grown up on ITV, I do love some ITV cliches if they are done right and in the right amount. So I absolutely adore that they are giving us these cliches in the 'Falling in love 2.0' phase (not that they were ever out of love)
So, here's to more trip-fall-catches and other ITV cliches that we want to see, here's to their fire chemistry and here's to falling in love again🥂❤
Ps: Sorry for the missing tags
Perfectly put😍👏
