the appeal of the original humsafar as well as this new mera humsafar is lost on me. I found the original boring and this one is way too weepy for my taste. also don't get how hala can be blind to what was going on in his house for years and somehow became this saviour overnight. also, that she had no choice but to marry him does not make it very romantic -- makes it more sadder that the girl has zero options but this fella.

but I am really glad that they avoided some of the tropes in this drama that annoys me and it was never that weepy. guess that is why I really enjoyed this drama and we all ended up chatting so much. :)

They totally ruined it by showing ushna being fine with getting married to sufi creepy. If it wasn't for zainab's determination to not get her married to that household and if she didn't stop ushna from meeting sufi creepy then she would have totally fallen for creepy. If zainab fixed her marriage with huzaifa and huzaifa was a nice guy she would have fallen for him as well🤣. She was wired in a way thay she would fall in love with her husband no matter who the husband is🤣.

The more i think about the wasted potential of usmol's chemistry the more frustrated i get. I hope usmol solve their differences and do another project together. But over all my impression of Usama got destroyed with his social media antiques. I saw 2 IVs of the male lead from muskil, Khushhal khan and he came off way more matured and grounded that Usama and he is only 22yrs old. He don't come off as pretentious at all and talks well. He is like almost 10yrs younger than Usama.

That was the most frustrating part she had fallen in love with a 'husband', not that man. But again you can't blame her, no girl in her senses would ever fall in love with someone who speaks less and barks more. They needed to add some human elements to Shehroz's character. I swear she would have fallen in love with anyone after the marriage. Sufi wasn't wrong to believe that his love story flopped because she got married to Shehroz and not him. 😆

I find that Mushkil guy weird looking. He's just 22? I'm surprised. Nobody in their right mind would put such nikahfied stories on social media where you aren't taking the name but everybody knows about your target. I don't blame Anmol for carrying grudges.

I guess both the dramas worked because of the lead's chemistry. even though humsafar had a toxic mother in-law it had a simplicity in it like most pak dramas of that time had. Also the female lead was strong. Even though she had little to no money she was well educated. She was capable of being independent which hala cannot be since she isn't a mentally strong person and not educated enough to be financially independent. It had toxic elements but it also had a female lead that made the audience root for her. May be that also worked in favor. Even the toxic mother in law isn't cartoonish evil. She came off as a classy villain.

Mere humsafar is a well acted drama. Almost all the actors fit into their roles and they all act well.

I guess humza was as absent minded as sameen when it came to hala before he went abroad. Sameen isn't that bad. She was a little self absorbed and in the last episode she admitted that and when she finally started thinking about hala she understood how unfair everyone including herself was to hala.

I guess shahjahan became more open with her antiques when she started fearing hamza will fall for hala. Hamza went abroad for college and he might have been a teenager before he left. We cannot expect a teenage boy who is a nerd to notice the politics happening inside the house. The problem here is farhan Saeed looks way too old for the role. Hamza's character at max will be 24-25 and farhan definitely don't look the part even though he acts well. Hala is like 18-19 or at max 20. Even if we take away all the mental torture and abuse she will still be a naive girl who don't have much idea about outer world.

Both hamza and hala weren't exactly in love when they got married just like ushroze. Shehroze did had some kind of attraction towards ushna but she had none. Even ushroze's marriage wasn't that romantic. Ushna was literally forced into marrying shehroze and hala had no other option. But both the guys started behaving like sweet husband's right after getting married😆. They both behaved as if they had a love marriage. 🤣

They should have shown more of ushroze before marriage. Atleast more scenes of ushroze after zainab got hospitalised so that ushna warmed up to shehroze a bit more and didn't think getting married to him wasn't that bad of an idea. But alas, the makers were busy thinking about sufi creepy's vlog locations.

Sufi creepy's obsession wasn't completely baseless like sadaf's. He was very open about his feelings for ushna and ushna even encouraged him to pursue zainab. Sufi creepy's 'what if shehroze was out of the picture' totally makes sense. He could have easily had ushna.

Mushkil ml has a very weird nose but he looks good in long shots were his nose isn't that prominent and is a decent actor. Going by his experience he is pretty good. When i saw mushkil he at times did come off as younger than both imaan Bibi and saboor but i didn't expect him to be actually that young. In IVs he looks younger than in dramas.

I still cannot believe Usama is that much of a Dumbo to put a post like that😆. Nibbi's offscreen image suits her character in muskhil😆

Even in the interview with Fuchsia Magazine, he himself would say about his experience with his co-stars like good or bad. He would say that its somewhere inbetween with Molu. That question was not asked to him ACTUALLY. He was unnecessarily trying to pull her legs from there. What he was trying to say that molu is not a good co-artist and what is the bad part in her, her attitude, her performance or what is it bothers you, whereas nibbi is a great co-star. INSANE. What is he trying to say here ? He was trying to promote his nibbi everywhere. Even in the interview with Mehrunisa he was promoting his Nibbi as great and the experience was great actually what experience ? Obviously everyone knows for him his Nibbi would be great in all means. Who cares and who asked him 😳. It was an interview about the show and he brings in nibbi and all praise for her. WHY ?

Moreover I don't find Nibba to be polite and gentle. He needs to have more decorum and he has to have media etiquette to handle social media and questions in such interviews. Has to mind his P's and Q's.

Anyway working in projects with him for molu may be ok but I dont want Molu to have Nibba in real life. She Have a bright future and She can have the best. She doesn't need this dim, tenuous, camouflaged, shaky, shady person.

When it comes to Aik Sitam Aur. The story had so much more potential to show the tasan of the leads and also the moments to bring them closer and tear them apart, more love, jealousy, possessiveness and hate could have be shown. I am sure if they had a good screenplay writer with more nok joks of the couple and elaborate wedding sequence with romantic moments and rasams and riwaz. it would have been a treat to watch. Rather it was more of mukthar house negativity and drama. But that's fine they should have added more sequences in the wahab house.

I had a feel that sheroz had interest in Ushna. I had a feeling that Sheroz over heared the conversation between Naima and Zainab when Zainab share that Ushna is not a biological daughter. Those things were not explicitly shown. Where as in the car scene where sheroz leave Ushan in the road the conversation would point towards that. Like "why you and ur mom trying to fool my mom" from then it was a clear interest of sheroz and he was jealous of ushna and sufiyan conversations. But these scenes could be more elaborate and obvious. Sheroz jealous of sufiyan holdinh ushna hand, he not showing tantrums with Ushan after the marriage discussions, and agreeing for the wedding by keeping his mom as a reason could be elaborate.

Again the Nikkah sequence also kept too subtle. They could have had an eloborate sequence for that and post nikka romance and things could have been eloborate. The wedding reception could be elaborate. If this story is the hands of the Indian Mega series Makers they would have milked the content with twists, turns and masala for at least 500 episodes. These guys rushed it quickly...😂😂😂😂

So Ushroz won best couple and aik Sitam aur won best soap on the basis of votes and they both shared that in their stories. It's also surprising that Anmol didn't share Best soap one but shared couple one 😆

It's a positive sign that at least both Know and acknowledge that as a pair they are being loved so professionally , if they are offered a project together, they won't refuse I think 😆

Also, both have given hearts on their stories. I guess, even they love their pair. Bas interview ne ladai karwa di Dono ki and usama k story ne 😆

Original humsafar and this humsafar both are overrated.

Hala was not blind but majboor. She has no one who could take stand for her. She fell for hamza not just because he was her husband but because he was caring, at least he stood for her.
