Well, the issue is that they don't deviate from the prescribed formula that is known to get them TRPs. Zero risks taken in that respect. Anyone watching this and thinking they are watching some creative art should know that they use market research and data analytics to develop storylines they think will engage the audience. They are not telling a good story. They are sewing together a series of moments that the audience will react to- which is true, even if the primary reaction is disgust. The story in totality is meaningless.

Also these guys are not creative in any way...that job title is misleading. They might as well be called Director of Showbusiness Development or something like that. I guess they are rich..and money makes up for a lot of things but man doesn't it hurt to put out a sub standard product every day of your life?

See even in this forced, rushed silly plot theres little things they could have done to make this a bit better ...

But the thing is V has no pov. He literally has no grounds to bail pp and worse allow her to live in CN.

If they had shown pp somehow have some blackmail tool like property papers, pension for MB that she's not releasing, the tool of blackmailing that she will name BK and get her arrested too if she's not let back into CN then there's a conflict. Here they did not think of any of that.

So V literally has NO grounds to tolerate pp. Yet he is protecting pp as family and lashing out at Sai. Why?!

That woman got his wife assaulted. Why would she be cool with her in the same house?!

It cant be that he is so consumed by her threat to leave that he hasnt understood WHY. Sai has explained that pp is rhe reason shes leaving and now the second reason is his insensitive behavior. She feels utterly let down by her husband

He is coming across as idiotic and completely uncaring. People have more concern for a stranger than he does for his wife.

My point exactly. Dramas need not be vapid. We need some substance in the drama so that we can root for the characters. Like here, who and what are we supposed to root for now? For Sai? Who we know will ultimately go back to Virat and happily play bahu to the vile Kaku....after everything. We needed Virat & co to be reasonable not just so we can root for them and their redemption arc but so that we could also root for Sai and Virat to get back together, to be a family with their kids.

This is the laziest show that had a great potential once. Everything was uniquely interesting the first few months, that's all. And then everything started going downhill.. the writing, the story, the acting and the offscreen shenanigans biggest of them all. Everything about this show became toxic but the ratings have never fallen for the proud showrunners to introspect or change things around. But I guess that is the ITV mantra, introduce something unique and then stamp all over it once it achieves popularity to keep the regressive TRP serving content on. But Ghum goes an extra length with the regressive content to become the most toxic crap with Max ratings. The only way to watch this show is at an arms length objectively because it has established patterns of illogical character building and writing. To think is to just boil our own blood😅

Dear the major reason to keep making these shifts to engage audience to gain trp only.
The Sai return to Virat is just a mask. At this moment, I will simply say "All hails to incompetent writers of the show."

Sometimes I feel the writer follow the forum and sometime pick their dialogues from our discussions only.

No man, i am beyond blaming the trp aunties. I doubt trp aunties will stop watching if they showed Virat or any other character (apart from Sai) to be bit more reasonable. Again i am not saying drama should be gone from the show and it should become some deep, relationship analytical show.

Nope there is absolutely many ways to develop drama in a show. What we keep getting is plain incompetent writing. The fault is entirely on the writers and directors.

Agree.. the entire fault lies with the writers and I am curious how do they feel when they see how their dialogues or writing is enacted on the screen...

I hope they make Omkar and Patralekha a couple then. This is one pair I am really rooting for
