With all due consideration to all your observations about Sayli's acting and Indu's characterisation, who do you suggest should have been opposite KVG to be able to carry it off well? No dissent, just wish to know your genuine opinion 😊
Also yes, like we discussed here even previously, her being able to miss office esp. in the Mumbai rains wherein realistically, she should ideally never be able to get anywhere in time and/or without any repercussions. That's indeed odd.
They need to: (a) Show her boss calling her out for it and threatening to cut down her salary as a consequence face-to-face and/or (b) Show a payday where she sees she is getting less money, and her coworker points out how the boss had said he will be cutting it down by x % because she missed some important meetings and left without prior notice. Some kind of rules and regulations of the workplace need to be shown, esp. considering it is a government office too.
I would say the same applies to Ritesh too. Film stars also have busy lives where they are committed to others with their times and efforts and have to adhere to their contracts. We love seeing him around Zoon, but wish we can see more of him investigating and learning about middle class lifestyle and actively working on his new project/film side by side as well. That way we can see them playing the roles that have been initially allocated to them😳
Hope that like they addressed some of the issues you brought up with respect to the dress code like the earrings (though not all), they so for this aspect as well
