I think her conversation with Sadia makes her try harder to do something for their marriage. She has been feeling burdened by that money that Basit has given her and perhaps wants to do something to show that she too is giving something into the relationship. The fact that Basit keeps saying "not your job" makes her feel like the little she can do for him, even that is not required by him. So that perhaps makes her feel like she has nothing to offer him which perhaps makes her look so sad and glum. Later when he asks her for the files, she brightens up because there is some way she can help him.

But it is clear that she wants Basit to notice her even if she never voices it or even acknowledges it to herself. After all in the dream/nightmare she had after the nikah, she did see Basit tell her she is looking beautiful.

Now that she has accepted to marry him, and then to be and stay married to him, I suppose she just wants to go for it. What else can she do I wonder?

She can't go to office (yet), she has money to spend, why not spend it on him. Don't think she bought anything for herself, did she..? His money goes back to him.

The perfume, he got so mad when the bottle broke.. And then his response to her when he noticed she bought a new bottle..

Basit does not know how to be with others except for his dad and Fahad. Make a connection with them. I like it that she does stuff in the house.. Become the woman of the house of the man who owns it and lives there. She is slowly creating her spot.

Hey.. Speaking of the dream/nightmare she had.. Did you also notice what she said to Basit when he said they are married now. I think this was in his office. She said something like I didn't notice based on last night..!

Ouch Basit.. Ouch.. 😆

It leaves him speechless and wondering. And Ayesha..? Don't think she realized what she just said.. 😆

But seriously, I am so looking forward to see these episodes. I love the song.. After the 12 episodes were done and I had nothing else to watch anymore I felt like an addict and played this song a couple of times.

Look.. I know nothing about other shows, actors producers etc. But I love this couple a lot..!

I applaud intensity, broken and flawed characters and a good packet of angst in it too in such series.

As of now , ayesha has only got disappointment frm basits side..there is nothing for her but she is holding her ground . Till the time basit gives her a reason , she won't continue for long ..apart from the cake scene , basit ke sudharne ka koichance nazar nai aa raha 🤔 I hope we see progress in basit , otherwise it's gonna be very painful show.

I would like to highlight that Basit is doing in this relationship exactly what he hates and what he blames his mother for.

From what I feel, he is not happy that his mother left his dad for not being in love with him. But he is madly disappointed, heartbroken over the fact that she actually left and stayed away. He has not been able to connect with others, besides his dad and Farhad. There are no other females in his life. No grandma, nobody.

What he is doing to Ayesha is the same.. He got her in this relationship, in this mess to achieve his goal and then he left.. Although they live together, he leaves her every time.

She wants love.. Or at least companionship.. She wants to make the best out of the situation. And... He did tell her that he liked her for the person that she is and for the relationships she values and maintains. Suppose she too is making an effort.. She has so much time now.. Better use it well 😆

Oh... If she goes home.. It will be Bano to convince her to go back again or speak to Basit...

It would be absolutely wonderful to have Basit take that full emotional journey and forgive his mother for what all happened. Actually... Remember the scene in his bedroom. She comes to inform if he is feeling unwell. Why he takes those tablets. There he says at some point I forgive you.. I have nothing else to give to you. Here is my forgiveness.. The acting was so good. He looked so helpless..

Basit doesn't realize yet that forgiving someone is not for the other person (alone) but for himself too. Only then can he move on and see, experience and find happiness again. We will have to be patient but hope they will explore this too..

I love all the scenes of Basit with his mother...and even in these 12 episodes you see that things are changing...from not wanting to even look at or acknowledge Sadia's presence, to taunting her, to revealing the depths of his hurt from her leaving him, to shouting at her and blaming her for trying to mess up his life even further with her hand in the shaping of the will to scolding her at his reception and indirectly telling her to help him deal with his in laws to trying to get back to the coldness he had in his behaviour towards her in the early episodes...Basit is not stagnant in terms of trying to deal with the return of his mother into his life. I think mother and son have a lot of pain and sadness to wade through yet but hopefully they will reach reach point Shahid Kapoor character and his mum did in JWM.

And truly you put it so beautifully about how forgiveness works. ❤️

I think already responded on this post but I can only confirm on Bano and Ayesha. I love these two and hope they will show more of them. The whole psychology, dynamics of Ayesha, Bano and Zoya all matches up.

I think Imtiaz does not know about the will that forced Basit to marry. Mansoor uncle knew since he was the lawyer. Sadia knows since she was consulted on it and given some rights in terms of the property till Basit inherits everything. Fahad knows since he is Basit's close friend and support system. But Imtiaz definitely did not know. Firstly he says he was not in Pakistan when Salman was ill and was not there when he passed away. And secondly if he knew about the will he would have told Soha since Basit was in serious financial crisis because of the conditions of the will and needed to get married immediately for the sake of the company's future. He might have suggested that Soha get married to Basit before going for the course.

Ayesha's family don't know anything about the will. Hehehe...if Qudsia knew she would not have settled for 75 lakhs 🤪

And I agree with you about the sisters and the dynamics they share. It is very relatable. And I think we will see more of Bano in the future...at least I hope we will

Hehe...some of the moments when Ayesha is fed up with something Zoya or Bobby phupho does...or when she is shocked at Basits behaviour...her face when Sadia puts the bangles on her for the engagement are really funny. I mean she looks so awkward in that situation that it was too cute and funny.

And yesss...I want Basit to be pissed at Fahad and Ayesha's friendship...he would be super jealous about it since he considers Fahad as his. So this will be the first time he will have to share...the spoilt brat in Basit will act out I have a feeling.
