Not defending but "Mera bachcha" was said in a context where Sai was threatening to take Vinayak with her so he said that Vinayak is his son too and she can't separate him from his son. It didn't seem like something changed because I didn't even notice it as it fit with their dialogues

The pattern is Sai speaking against Pakhi and Pakhi speaking in favor of Sai, they are editing scenes in a way that someone watching would feel Sai is wrong as she is speaking against someone who is repenting

Virat told Sai, tum hi vinayak and Biyanka ki maa banogi.

Next he will tell P, tum hi Vinayak ki maa ho with soft looks.

Looks like they don't want to give any nice and romantic scenes before separation. Always fights.

And Sai will never have any happiness ever and noone will talk about her rights strongly.

That is what I am worried about.

This show is really crass. They really don't need to show thos degree of crap to give accident n separation. They could have opted for Sai telling family that she wants to take her son to her hometown GC to a temple because of everything thats happened. V cant accompany because of the enquiry stuff at work. Sai will pray for him to also be let off with warning.

Sai can say she will go on her own and come back same day. Gaadi ka accident. Sai presumed dead. Leap.

V can regret that he could not accompany his wife.

I am sure if a person like me can think of a less toxic plot, makers can. And I'd like to believe that my above conceived plot in 2 mins still checks off their boxes of dramatic plot twist but with like 0.000000001 % toxicity they are giving.

But they abused her n made her beg for forgiveness. Its not about character support but what narrative they show. Them showing intense abuse of a girl who stand up for herself n wrongdoings and justify it is wrong.

Purely from Vs perspective it’s actually a double nightmare come true for him … losing Sai and Vinu both now! He has been in constant fear of losing Sai and now hearing from Sai again now not just Sai but Vinakaya too…it’s a nightmare for him!!

Hope V get How Sai would have felt when he so easily snatched the baby from Sai and gave to P in name of joint family and now also he is doing same jaap
