QH was Gul's most traumatizing show before Imlie happened😆......that show famously traumatized many people for a long time that they always felt paranoid that Gul will show those kind of things in her next shows.

But Gul shifted gears from QH to IB which was a much lighter/family show. IB also had a lot of mess and experimentation of a different kind but yeah nothing beats QH level of shit😆.

QH mein Gul tried almost everything....lol three generation leaps with the same actress....SJ got to do modern Zoya, dhaabewaali Sanam, con artist Seher and then I don't even remember her third gen leap character ka name😆....and yeah third generation leap was some kind of werewolf supernatural story I think😆.

So the longer Imlie goes on, Gul will then try to bring supernatural elements as she runs out of story here also😆.....since she has already followed the QH template in Imlie by showing stuff like vamp drugging/raping the ML. Only difference is that the vamp in QH was openly accepted as a vamp while in Imlie, they whitewashed Malini and gaslighted Adi instead. But otherwise Gul deffo is following the QH brand of toxicity and negativity overload for Imlie.

QH kept going on and on cuz channel didn't pull the plug on it until like 800 or so epis I think....lol so here also it all depends on when SP pulls the plug on Imlie otherwise Gul will keep showing this kind of stuff only and eventually supernatural kaala jaadu stuff will deffo be put in😆

That's why I'm never going to watch gul shows again. We kept waiting and hoping everything will be sorted. Of course it's a serial so twists were bound to come but I never thought that they were breaking adilie relationship episode by episode so that they can end it completely ......and can establish creepy jaaniya.

It's over. We have seen the worst and I don't think anything will ever shock me on itv now.

QH 😆😆 Mujhe sirf Azad(KSG) & zoya Tak hi pasand thi. Aur sanam ahil teek tak. But unki daayan wala story a big no😛 lekin uss vaqt meim thodi bachi thi toh syaada farak nahi padti thi. Lekin ab sochti hoom toh😃😃

A really unpopular opinion I feel , MD’s come back have something to do with this sudden changes . If we still notice MD is not much seen with ST FK .

MD’s come back was promoted by them . Even Atif posted MD’s promo. And fall out may happen in Ashiqana set also . Because Atif was there till July mid. If MD is not seen in S2 then we assume something related to that only .

LOL well I would like to think we can still compartmentalize and view it as a seperate journey in our heads before the Fliplie phase descended and destroyed Imlie ka core. The original journey will still always have a special feel....even now hearing Piya Tose in one of the old scenes still evokes the same feel IMO :)

Another thing I just realized while looking at this gif - LOL even though Imlie claimed to be living a naukrani's life back then, she still atleast wore her own jewellery. LOL no one could accuse of her living off the scraps of other people then....woh dignity thi in having her own stuff. But Jaaniya pati lete hi jewellery pile on ki saari uski khareedi hui😆....apne gaaon, aapni mitti ka kuch nahin raha other than three dots😆
