There were some comments on videos I had found which confirmed it was real..but I guess sirf locals ko pata hai.

Usmein ladke ka naam bhi diya tha. Story was a little different tho, that accident bit mein kuch toh change tha. I guess real life mein shaadi ke baad koshish ki thi.

And if u watch Hassan ka interview with DurE you'll come to know...the way they are talking about both characters and the tenses they use is kinda obvious that it happened...

Seen some people regularly say that it seems similar to an incident that took place in Islamabad apparently. But i feel aise toh dozen cases hote honge. Every other case would be so similar to this. Its possible that the mainstream media didn't cover it or it didn't reach to that extent. But a small sizeable population would have known. Again they too would have decided to keep shut cuz honestly speaking who wants to get into any of this when they know it will only make their life hell.

So many incidents take place day after day, everywhere. Not everything makes it to the public. Sometimes even if it does, cuz of various reasons it gets passed off or is forced to. And we are talking about stuff happening there, where situation gets as bad as it can in the interiors cuz of corruption and lawlessness. So many incidents make it to media, so many dont. No matter how big or small. Some get justice. Some dont. Nothing unbelievable about this. Ofcourse, The main premise and main characters would be the inspiration behind the story. Obviously the other subplots and side characters are weaved in to make the story that we are seeing now.

Radain changed the names, location and even the Nawab bit I think, so that no one would make the connection.

Possibly its a local story.

We also gotta remember things are different over here compared to there. If it were based in Mumbai, then Shamsher wouldn't be able to get away with half the shit he did. Channels like Aaj Tak and Republic would be all over the story. I guess that makes a difference too.

Dur e's interviews with Hasan has her narrating the story i beleive. But they have edited out the major portion cuz 1) maybe safety reasons 2) it gives away the story plot of KTK

I am sure its a real life incident...nahi toh wouldn't it be easier for them to just say that its fiction. They didn't go down that route.

Bringing it to karachi, like i said before the father role is such a mishap with all the details given, it just doesnt come out right yaar. Wahi bol rahi hun koi gawar and ekdum koi labor class hota to shayad beleivable tha

Given the mehak family side it is never really convincing to me

I mean ek bachi ko bachane ke liye tum doosri ko maardo ye kaafi nuisance hai, and dhamkana shamsher ka bhi satisfying nai hai, ya to scene cut hain nai toh if its like this then also. Baap manwa raha hai shadi ke liye to better tha proper gundey bulakar teeno ko bandhwakar and goli goli khelta , and mehak ye sab dekh kar maan jati rather bap ko bolo ki beti ko manao, this all makes the character really lose
